Its a *****y list' date=' has Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift among others as 'most influential'.[/quote'] And what makes you think Lady GaGa is not influential ? She has taken the world by storm and they have huge posters pf hers in Railway Stations in Switzerland -- where more than half of the population does not even speak English. You will have to say she has some charisma.

I do not equate popularity to influence. Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin, yes they have an ideology and they have a decent following in the most powerful nation of the world. In the broad field of arts, James Cameron definitely, he surely makes people think hard and thus affect their actions. Jolie has been on the list earlier because of her humanitarian work. I just do not see how some of these pop artists influence people.

In fact Pop Idols are the ones that most easily influence the masses. BTW, that gaga lady is one fugly thing :((
Modern day Madonna. Just that fugly thing is extra for Lady gaga. Yup Pop idols define eras.

I can't fuggin believe they have listed Ashton Kutcher as one of the influential people. I was reading it while waiting for an oil change today. Read a quote from Sachin (when he got in 200) and also a column on him by Deepak Chopra about how it feels good to beat the imperial Brits at their own game. This is in the US edition. :adore: :boss:
