This Murali Vijay is getting a free ride due to couple of good performances in IPL.....he has done nothing better off sorts recently...

i suggest you look up the first class record . in my opinion yusuf is the one getting the free ride due to ipl in fact has been for the last 3 years. Murali has just broken in the scene has had 2 odi's and 4 T20's and already its being termed as a free ride ? drop him by all means if he continues to underperform,does not improve on his atrocious running ( which he has shown more than once ) but give him a fair chance and not a an extended free holiday like yusuf !

I think selectors are getting carried away with Yusuf big hitting, as we saw in last over, all that bowler did was bounce a little and this guy looked like deer caught in headlights, he cant play any big shot other hit them straight. He cant field nor bowl , he and Jadeja cannot be in team together Jadeja needs to be reminded, he is bowler first who needs to take wickets not just dart balls.

i think this is DK's last chance ! as far as vijay is concerned looks like he got an inside edge but still if he fails this series maybe we should give him some time off to go back to domestic ! there are a lot of batsmen we can try so one cannot enjoy chances forever !

DK is a wicket keeper and he should me measured in the same scale as others. Dont expect him to make runs like a genuine batsman. And even if you drop him, who will you bring in for him? Cant see any decent Wicket Keeper bat for ODI's and 20-20.

people keep saying do not select on basis of IPL to be fair naman had a great domestic season where uthappa sucked ! but if its middle order then i would go with uthappa. but give naman a go uthappa had his chances in the past. thats just my opinion

I like DK. He is someone who can bat well (esp against short pitched stuff) and keep wkts too .... I hope he does well in the coming games As for options for back up WK, I wouldn't mind trying out someone like Rayydu too in limited overs

raydu is a terrible keeper. yes he had a couple of good games . but he had bad games as well through the league matches as keeper. and you can look at him and say he is 100% makeshift could end up costly.

Uthappa and Raydu are awful keepers, can't even be called keepers. They are just back stops. Karthick is back up and ok. Pathan is total waste of space. Has been exposed and should be axed now. His continued selection is bizzare! Is there a Pathan quota in operation?

I think Rayydu did a good job as a WK considering he didn't have much experience with it. If I am not wrong, his keeping improved a lot as the tourney progressed! .... If Karthik isn't in form then Rayydu is one of the options that I would consider, esp if Rayydu isn't in the squad as a specialist batsman

Some keepers keep well but when there is a chance on offer, they tend to screw up (Kamran Akmal for example. Even Sangarakara messes up at times). On the other hand, Rayydu would appear raw (more like an unfinished product) but would hardly miss a chance. I remember, he had shown a good presence of mind when keeping. Probably he is a street smart cricketer!

Rayudu cannot be counted as an international keeper- surely he isnt good enough. I dont know loads about cricket and particularly little about 'keeping, but I could tell from the little I saw of him that he is NOT a keeper. Fraction of a second slower in a stumping, or a fumble or something that a natural keeper would not do- things like that make a diff at Intl level...
