Sooda Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Both Mithun and Tyagi should have been in the original squad given they were finding a place in Test/ODI squads over the last few months (SA' date=' Bangla series) - don't know how Vinay, Dinda, Umesh and Pankaj all leapfrogged them.[/quote'] I agree that it is selectorial inconsistency... they were in the fringers of the mian team.. next thing you know they see guys whove impressed in the IPL taking their places.. But can kinda see where theyre coming from... I think they are going to learn and benefit a lot more from a tour of England than they would have from playing Zim and SL 'A'. The selectors should have sent Vinay Kumar to England too with the A team. The quality of opposition they face there is not far behind (if at all) and they get to experience very different bowling conditions...

Only FUTURE stars make it to the A Team. Seems like Mithun has been relagated !
rkt.india Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Bt I dont really know on what basis they selected Pankaj Singh..he is useless...
rkt.india Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 But when he played for India he was merely clocking 132-133. And Umesh and Dinda are 139-140 bowlers not 135-136. look at the highlights of the abandoned game against SL in delhi he was bowling in early 140s consistently
Temujin Khaghan Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 look at the highlights of the abandoned game against SL in delhi he was bowling in early 140s consistently yeah tyagi has the potential upto 140kph... i think he was trying to control his length in the last couple of matches he played thats why he was bowling around at 130s
rkt.india Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 yeah tyagi has the potential upto 140kph... i think he was trying to control his length in the last couple of matches he played thats why he was bowling around at 130s the main problem I saw with him is he tries too hard and tries too hard to hit the deck too hard and in doing that sometimes his balance of the body at the delivery stride isnt right, it falls towards left side thats why his deliveries goes wide and short...he just needs to be stay calm and and try to bowl straight at short of length or good length with the new ball, he will surly get bounce because of his height...and he lacks a bit of temperament
Andy Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 look at the highlights of the abandoned game against SL in delhi he was bowling in early 140s consistently I dont think Tyagi is naturaly a 140 bowler . He may have bowled 140s in one match. But he doesnt do it regularly.
rkt.india Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 I dont think Tyagi is naturaly a 140 bowler . He may have bowled 140s in one match. But he doesnt do it regularly. NO indian bowler bowls 140 regularly..he has good action, good height, gets bounce, and consistently bowl at 85 mph which good..he just needs to get his radar right which he sometimes loses because the lack of right temperament..here BCCI needs work on these bowlers to improve how to tackle pressure situations...they will have to find the solution by which these young bowlers can learn...look at Stuart Broad..he was hammered fro 6 sixes in an over..if any indian fast bowler went like that i dnt think he would have picked again or would have bowled as well as Broad after that...bt Broad did it..look at wt happened to Manoj Prabhakar...

diegovegaz Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Wrong' date=' tyagi has proved time and again that he has no talent in the musical chairs contest conducted by Cheeka before every new series. He always loses -- so he isnt selected. See rajinikanth songs might be a little confusing sometimes... but Tyagi needs to concentrate harder on musical chairs and he will definitely have a gr8 career as a pace bowler for india...[/quote'] do u expect a five wicket haul from him, after he warms benches for months, and is only given a chance when we win a series without match practice, no bowler can be in rythm, so as to bowl consistent

Aaku Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 I will have to mute the volume when Mithun is bowling :P :giggle:
S.Bond Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 you wanted to make fun of indian bowlers... then thought we will rape you in broad daylight and added some of your batting morons, as if making some random joke... its ok yaar, you can make fun of indian players once in a while... lol at your thinking... I was thinking how bad your bowlers are, an they really are POOR... Then mymind went to our batsmen, and the really are even WORST... So i made an unbeatable XI... And the common thing about both our battingand your bowlers is the high number of tried players!!!

I agree with the names you put, particularly of Indian bowlers.
hari504504 Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 NO indian bowler bowls 140 regularly.... SREESANTH.. he is the fastest we have and it is about time we stop neglecting him... he along with Zaheer should be leading our bowlers in WC2011..genuine wicket taker who might go for a few (who doesn't!! in this current set-up..), atleast he gets a couple of the top order batsmen
