Sachinism Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmhgPUXnzBU]YouTube- Israel attacks aid ship bound for Gaza[/ame]
Manny_Pacquiao Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Nothing. israel sent out a warning. convoy should have known better than to go in after being warned. in any case, you are never going to see anything positive about israel on a channel like al-jazeeera.
CSK Fan Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 ^^^ Is that why most countries, the UN and the indian goverment have condemned Israel's action? They were all influenced by Al-Zazeera?
punjabi_khota Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Well it seems obvious that the purpose of the ship was MUCH more than just giving humanitarian aid...if you scroll down on http://www.mfa.gov.il/MFA/Government/Communiques/2010/Israel_Navy_warns_flotilla_31-May-2010.htm basically they say ****k off to the navy warnings / requests that they go to the israeli port from where supplies would be taken on road. The aim of the ship mission was to get publicity, to publicly defy the blockade and NOT just supply humanitarian aid.
Clarke Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 They should have been prepared for this nonsense and gone in with tear gas shells or something. The objective of the 'aid' workers will always be to provoke them.
EnterTheVoid Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Israel requested the boat dock at a port where they supplies can be screened before entering Gaza, but the flotilla refused.
Texy Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Israel made the mistake of shooting them.... they should've been better prepared to handle this situation.
CSK Fan Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Israel made the mistake of shooting them.... they should've been better prepared to handle this situation. One thing I know is that no one phucks with Israel. they are least bothered with public opinion and will use a sledgehammer to kills a mosquito
Sooda Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 There is very little chance that aid would have reached Gaza 'via any Israeli city' by road or whatever, certainly not in its entirity... theres a blockade there and thats the point of it, to make the people there suffer. Hence the need for the ship to go to Gaza directly.
Sooda Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 One thing I know is that no one phucks with Israel. they are least bothered with public opinion and will use a sledgehammer to kills a mosquito Thye can afford to not care because they know theyve got their backsides covered by their sugar daddies in the US govt.
Guest Gunner Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Thye can afford to not care because they know theyve got their backsides covered by their sugar daddies in the US govt. Don't take me wrong but in my opinion the Palestinians always have it coming. If you elect Hamas as your representative and expect to talk peace with Israel, good luck.
Texy Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Thye can afford to not care because they know theyve got their backsides covered by their sugar daddies in the US govt. How can you blame them when countries like Egypt and Jordan reinforce these blockades? Where is Saudi Arabia? sheikhs getting fatter by the day from all the oil dollars? So called "muslim leadership" chant and death to jews on PP IDF needs to fire the commander or whoever ordered to shoot with live ammunition....they could've used rubber bullets or tasers or something non lethal. This is extremely stupid on part of IDF and now they have inspired thousands of would be suicide bombers.
punjabi_khota Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 There is very little chance that aid would have reached Gaza 'via any Israeli city' by road or whatever' date=' [b']certainly not in its entirity... theres a blockade there and thats the point of it, to make the people there suffer. Hence the need for the ship to go to Gaza directly. Thats the point...if they let it go without any checks, you think the peace-loving arabs will send no weapons, bombs, missiles in there ? These are the people who tie bombs to their OWN kids to blow up an israeli bus.....the level of desperation is high on both sides.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 ^^^ Is that why most countries' date=' the UN and the indian goverment have condemned Israel's action? They were all influenced by Al-Zazeera?[/quote'] i don't see what this has to do with anything. it doesnt change the fact that israel was acting within its rights. they issued a warning, the convoy went against it. Simple. You can't blame them for being paranoid. Muslims should go whine and moan about Hosni mubarak's egyptian government which freely allows its policemen to beat the **** out of protesters on the streets and blocks aid to Gaza.

Hence the need for the ship to go to Gaza directly. The UN and Red Cross all deliver aid through the land route via Israel. Israel made the offer to the "peace" activists to deliver the aid the same way as UN and Red Cross do, and added that they could accompany the aid to ensure it reached the Palestinians. The fact that this was rejected proves the obvious fact that this aid mission was all about publicity and conflict rather than providing aid. And what was the need for 800 people including journalists to accompany the aid? Shameless bunch of people who wanted a conflict and got exactly that.
Brainfade Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Evidently, there are people taking to the streets in NYC to condemn Israel. Did they also come out and protest when NK torpedoed a SK ship recently?

It's like the arrogant little geek in elementary school - you know the one who'd keep provoking the big bully, then play the poor victim when he gets whacked.
yoda Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 It's like the arrogant little geek in elementary school - you know the one who'd keep provoking the big bully' date=' then play the poor victim when he gets whacked.[/quote'] First time I am reading about the "arrogant" geek and the "humble" bully. :giggle:
Texy Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Evidently' date=' there are people taking to the streets in NYC to condemn Israel. Did they also come out and protest when NK torpedoed a SK ship recently?[/quote'] that don't matter...they ain't muslims ...... muslims esp pakistanis only care about other muslims only...they want to make countries just for muslims, laws just for muslims and websites just for muslims..scientific discoveries just for muslims...medicines just for muslims.....only feel outraged when other muslims are in trouble...they don't give two sh!ts about others... also one reason they never mention to their children that they killed n raped over 1 million bangladeshis..majority hindus...killed n slaughtered thousands of kashmiri pundits...yet they play the victim card and call jews the big bad wolf.
achilles Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Turkey has threatened Israel with dire consequences. Finally someone stands up to them, eh?
