Temujin Khaghan Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Choose any one - win asia cup but lose against pakistan - win against pakistan but lose asia cup what might happen is a different issue... we might even lose both against pakistan and the cup... or even win both. But what is it that you would choose between these two options.
Desi Cartman Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 why cant win the cup and beat pakistan as well :dontknow:
Temujin Khaghan Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 why cant win the cup and beat pakistan as well :dontknow: choose one man. i want to know which is more important for icfers. defeating pakistan or winning the cup.
asterix Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Win against Pakistan..Lankans are winning the cup anyway..
SachDan Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Winning the final by beating Pakis would be awesome !
Clarke Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 If need be lose the battle, win the war i.e. win the Asia cup by all means.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Winning against Pakistan is the real deal. You`ve already won the 92,96,99,2003 World Cups haven`t you? (That`s not me saying it lol)
Temujin Khaghan Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 If need be lose the battle' date=' win the war i.e. win the Asia cup by all means.[/quote'] Tri series involving india are as common as mosquitoes during rainy season... if we lose against pakistan now... we wont see them until WC11.
rkt.india Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 add one more option......"withdraw from Asia cup":winky:
Thommo Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 winning the Asia cup will restore some confidence for the team and thats what is more important..Its been sometime that India has actually won a multinational cup away from home(actually dont remember last when)
Sid Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 we want tro win asia cup ,i thought this type of non sense discussion only happpened in padosis site
Zap_Brannigan Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 winning the Asia cup will restore some confidence for the team and thats what is more important..Its been sometime that India has actually won a multinational cup away from home(actually dont remember last when) How many has India played? Multinational cup has been effectively killed by the ICC. The only ones remaining are the ICC tournaments, Asia cup and the CB series, which we won the last time we played.

It was just an annual tri series in Australia and now it no longer exists as Australia play separate ODI series with two teams rather than the triangular CB series.

Such tournaments no longer exist aside from ICC and asia cup. I took Multinational as more than 2 teams which includes tri-series.
Gunner_Mania Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 It atleast had 3 teams. Such tournaments no longer exist aside from ICC and asia cup. 3 teams including Australia or without Australia? I can't remember 4 teams playing in it. If you mean 3 with the Aussies, then what is the diff between that and the one we just finished in Zim and another that we will play in Lanka later with the Kiwis?

Guest Hiten. Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 We definitely need to win a multi national tournament to up our morale before heading to the World Cup. And if I am not wrong this will be our last rehearsal in a multi nation tournament before the World Cup. Winning/Losing to Pakistan is not end of the world and is still a job half done. For those who think we can't win Asia cup are being way to skeptical about our team's strength and ability to perform. We certainly haven't picked the best lot to represent us in Asia cup, but I have a positive feeling about our chances in Asia cup.
yoda Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 want: beat them all, win them all what's been happening: lose them all :((
gaurav92 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 To me its win the cup doesn't matter if we lose to pak, because ultimately we are the champs :nice:
