Sachin average against Pakistan is 42 odd and fallls to 35 odd if you take out that 194 not out innings. This inot whopping by any standard since all of those matches were played on Pak/Ind roads.
why should we take out that innings???exactly why???? Asked Akhtar what does whopping means...he will tell.
Honorary posts in specific fields should go to deserving persons who have contributed and have expertise in that field not to someone who have done well in another field. Sachin is probably first ever Air Force officer who dont knwo how to fly a jet.
The American President is the supreme commander of its armed forces.......he must be a green beret right??? You still dont understand do you....the meaning of honorary????

And take out Akhtar's first ball dismissals of Sachin and Dravid, he's virtually nonexistent against India in tests :hehe:

I have never understood all these honorary posts and honorary post grad degrees etc you get for being a famous sports personality even when you don't have knowledge about these fields? Or is there is a deeper meaning behind this? Just trying to understand.
Its to attract more and more youngsters to join army or airforce .

I have question for my dear brothers. Why is Sachin called God. I know he is good batsman and have maximum total runs in test cricket and limited cricket and 200 and other run records. But dear friends God should be perfect but Sachin is lower average than many poeple and Bradman has double Sachin average so why is Sachin called God because there can be no one above God but Bradman is very above God?

its a title given to him by his fans, and he has millions of those. I am sure sachin himself will cringe at the title. Who would want to be called God?.other than dhongi sadhu babas. "Master" "The boss", these nicknames suit him more :hatsoff: God is more like a title given to him by his fans/worshippers as an appreciation, sort of respect for his immense talent. Please dont make a fool of yourself by thinking that people make temples in his name and pray to his idol.

Then Son of God will be better. Because God can't make mistake but son can. Sachin is good but not God. I like to call him Son of God. Sachin the Son of God.
