saneindian Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Umesh Yadav, the specialist bowler bowled 1 over and they gave 2 overs to Jadhav? Some very strange decisions there.
rkt.india Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 dhavan bowled 2 overs , jadhav 2 gave gave 38 in 4 overs Yadav 1 over gave 6 runs what rubbish...
ZodiaC Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Umesh Yadav' date=' the specialist bowler bowled 1 over and they gave 2 overs to Jadhav? Some very strange decisions there.[/quote'] Probably he was injured or something?
Chandan Posted August 14, 2010 Author Posted August 14, 2010 India is really in a spot of bother against SA in the first 50 over match (reduced to 40 overs). SA scored 239 all out in 38.1 overs with Chawla claiming a 5 for, while Dinda and Kulkarni really spanked at 10 an over without any wicket. Even Unadkat went without any wicket. India have already lost 4 wickets enroute 97 in 20.1 with only Pujara left as the reliable batsman.
Chandan Posted August 14, 2010 Author Posted August 14, 2010 India loses the match by 60 runs. Iframe: Open in new window
Sooda Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Frak, Dinda got seriously clobbered, and this was a guy playing for India not long ago. Well, this was a dissapointing performance, challenging total but to get all out for 179 is embarassing
saneindian Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Chawla bowling 12 overs in a 38 overs match?
Cricketics Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Scorecard says that jayadev unadkat was the 12th men. But it also shows that Unadkat bowled 6 overs in that particular game.
IKnowU Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I went to the game yesterday :aha: twas awesome :aha: I dont know about the scorecard glitches but Unadkat bowled. The game was taken pretty lightly, everyone was relaxed and cracking jokes most of the time in the Indian camp. Ill post the photos soon. Friend has them.
saneindian Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Gursevak Singh and Sahib Mahotra are the two MRF trainees playing for AIS this year. Last year Varun Aaron and Rahul Shukla had played for AIS. Wonder where they have disappeared. IIRC Ganguly had said Aaron was capable of clocking 90mph+ consistently.
Sooda Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Im sure Aaron got a contract with KKR, dont know if he played in IPL 3 at all though
Chandan Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 The second One Day game is under progress, where India has bowled out the Kiwi EP for 187. I'm sorry, just 9 wickets have been taken and it seems that the matches are are only of 40 overs this time. Kulkarni has taken 3 wickets this time, Chawla 2 and Yadav 1 while Vinay Kumar has gone wicketless, though he did effect one run out. Mukund ran 2 more Kiwis out. And as I write, India has lost its first wicket. Dhawan has been dismissed just for 1. It is the same old story for him it seems. He started this tournament also most brightly when everyone wondered how could this brilliant lad not get a chance! But his performance tapered off alarmingly as the tournament moved toward the end, as it happens in every tournament that Dhawan has played. Meanwhile, AIS has lost its second successive ONG while the Proteas have won 2.

saneindian Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Rahane and Mukund lead India to a comfortable win by 7 wickets. NZ A: 197/9 in 40 overs, Kulkarni 3/54, Chawla 2/53, Yadav 1/45, Ind A: 198/3 in 32 overs, Dhawan 1, Mukund 80, Rahane 62, Naman Ojha 23*, Pandey 14* http://livescores.cricket.com.au/scoreboard_2561_3.html
Sooda Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Its confusing how they put the team batting 2nd higher up :hmmm:
saneindian Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 India A playing AIS today. AIS 127 all out in 35.2 overs, Unadkat 4/8, Vinay 2/16, Dhawal 1/27, Chawla 1/37, Dhawan 1/7 India A 66/4 in 16 overs, Dhawan 20, Mukund 27, Rahane 1, Pathiv 0, Pujara 16*, Pandey 1* The amazing rise of Unadkat continues. He is making it very difficult for the selectors to ignore him for future series. Iframe: Open in new window
IKnowU Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I went to the match today........twas awesome!!!!! :aha: Unadkat and Vinay Kumar bowled awesome. Especially Unadkat
saneindian Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Can we please keep Unadkat away from IPL auctions? I hope he is not allowed to go the Ishant way.
