Texy Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 absolutely brilliant....out of the world movie..... what an ending.... you won't figure out what happen in the ending unless you go back to the beginning so ......watch very carefully the beginning few scenes. The scene with the van (without revealing too much) was A M A Z I N G saw it in IMAX....totally worth the extra money
bharathh Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 IMAX screens (the original ones, not the new cr@p AMC ones) are typically much larger than the regular ones. So, yea any special effects movie should look awesome in an IMAX screen. The visuals didn't stand out for me. I was too engrossed in the story anyways. It was a nice to think during the movie rather than just gape at the screen for once.

I tried to really really enjoy this movie, I went into the movie with an open mind not having read any of the spoilers, reviews etc but the movie was just too convoluted to make any sense. Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite directors, really really enjoyed some of his previous work (prestige, batman films etc) but in this, I feel he tries to cram in too much - tragedy, action, philosophy - and its just all too much to take in. On the positive side, really enjoyed the soundtrack, Hans Zimmer does an excellent job.

I am serious, I really could not enjoy it as much as I would have lieked and being a big Christopher Nolan fan, I feel let down. I could understand bits and pieces to understand the overall picture but there are large chunks in the movie where I just could not follow what was going on.

They show Saito handling a gun, but wouldn't that just take them to a lower level? My friend said the sedative would have worn off by now thus making death an option.

Zap_Brannigan Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I wish this movie was in 3D instead of crappy movies like Avatar.Imagine that paris building scene or the zero gravity fight in 3D I am sad that original movies like this and District 9 are once a year affair..fk hollywood.
