Too many people dependent on Sachin here. On the 4th innings of any match in Indias chase, usually people who are atleast known to bat alright in indian chase are 1. Ganguly 2. Laxman 3. Gambhir Sachin and Sehwag are known to never do well in fourth innings chase ,barring one or two innings, that too may be only in India or Australia. Since Ganguly is gone and Gambhir is out, atleast i expect Laxman to give some resistance. But otherwise, it will be difficult for tailenders to accumulate runs and Mendis will also join the fun tommorow with Randiv and Malinga to Win the match for Lanka.

Completely disagree about Sachin. Our last two major fourth innings chases (203 against Pak and 387 against England) have featured significant contributions from SRT. He has also helped save Tests against Aus at Bangalore, NZ at Napier and SL at Ahmedabad. To my mind he is the only one can save us from defeat here though I'd be happy to proven completely wrong with the other batsmen stepping up too.
