King Tendulkar Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 What a player with match winning ton in 4th innings. Most underrated player for India ever. Love this guy. Pure class:two_thumbs_up:
HouMac Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Most underrated indeed. Outside of Tendulkar, there hasn't been a more reliable batsman for India under pressure than VVS over the last 4-5 years. Dude's unshakable.
lonestarranger Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Especially since 'The Wall' is looking out of sorts.
jhakati Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 THE MOST UNDERRATED INDIAN LEGEND THIS CHAP, EASILY IN THE TOP 5 INDIAN BATSMAN OF ALL TIME AND INDIA'S GREATEST BATSMAN UNDER PRESSURE FOR ME:hatsoff:
King Tendulkar Posted August 7, 2010 Author Posted August 7, 2010 Especially since 'The Wall' is looking out of sorts. Give it a break There were planty of idiots saying vvs should be dropped as well blah blah even though he is averaging 50 in last 3 years. I wonder if people actually watch india play:haha:
fineleg Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Big Match Player Can someone list all pressure situation knocks of VVS? or in important matches? Kolkata NZ P.Sara .... ....
jhakati Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Big Match Player Can someone list all pressure situation knocks of VVS? or in important matches? Kolkata NZ P.Sara .... .... like i said under pressure the best indian batsman of all time i would rate the list as follows- laxman ganguly dravid gavaskar sehwag sachin amarnath

jusarrived Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 like I have said a million times before him and Darvid are our two biggest match winners .
sudheer kumar Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Yes he can take responsibility under pressure. No doubt....Laxman..........ReLAXedMAN
Robin Hood Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Laxman is a legend in pressure situations, especially in 3rd and 4th innings of test match. What a match and what a player.
CSK Fan Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 like I have said a million times before him and Darvid are our two biggest match winners . Sehwag and Sachin have won us equal amount of matches too. Without Sehwag's 109 in the first innings we wouldnt even have come close. Its really narrow minded to look just at the ending and discard the importance of a first innings ton. Its like a relay race, only the last runner cannot be credited with a team victory. That said, What a superb sublime innings, never looked in trouble and all class. Well played indeed
