to all my meat eating, genocidal brothers and sisters. spare a thought for the soul that you snuff out to appease your palate. spare a thought for the animals brutalized, tormented and eventually murdered just so that you may relish in some carnivorous habits? i urge you to make this ramdan a historic one: renouce meat, it just aint neat...

although can't compete with shwetabh' date=' he comes from lucknow[/quote'] Places in old Delhi and Bombay are equally good, but they are not conveniently accessible. I mean, if I am staying in South Delhi and want to go to Jama Masjid, that's a one and a half hour commute. In Lucknow, practically everything is within half hour. But the best part is the home cooked food at friends' places. Some of the rich ones have such elaborate iftaars that one has to wonder about the reasons behind fasting in the first place, not that I used to mind.

BS. Life form consumes life form to survive. Thats how it is. Accept it.
if that were true, someone more advanced than you, and believe me there are quite a few of them out there, would have consumed imbeciles such as you.

I'm a strict non-vegetarian
i can respect that, but out of consideration for our environment, could you say abstain from meat once a week? say a friday or thursday? listen guys, i know some of you are not ready or willing to renounce meat, and well its a free world, but leaving aside the economic, the humanitarian and the health benefits of a vegan or a vegetarian diet, consider that every pound of meat that you consume, the resources used are equivalent to the resources used in producing up to 16 pounds of grain. now in a world plagued by hunger and malnutrition, if the strain on the arable land on the planet can be alleviated by a marginal decrease in the amount of meat consumed, a few hungry mouths could thereby be fed. if however this is a small token gesture that you are unwilling to make, then that is your prerogative, but to spam this thread with inconsiderate vituperations is just not civil. ignore the thread if the idea is not for you, but dont spam it. please.
