Gunner_Mania Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Don't you read the whole thread. Maharashtra born' date=' worked in Bangalore...[/quote'] ...spends more time in Rishikesh than he does on movies.
Holysmoke Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Thalaivar What does that word mean, why is he called that?
Rajiv Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 There is something similar where Hema Malini was on our own premier show where some old gentleman told her that she looks like a heroine and she should come in movies tex - Haven't u seen Andha Kanoon, HUM?
The Outsider Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 tex - Haven't u seen Andha Kanoon, HUM? Rajiv, a lot of actors act in languages they don't know how to speak. They just have to lip sync and read from the script after understanding the situation to get the right facial expressions. While dubbing they just read off the script, transcribed in a different language.
Rajiv Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 True, like Sridevi..she was total lip sync and then eventually became natural
Ram Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 What does that word mean' date=' why is he called that?[/quote'] Thalaivar - Leader.
lonestarranger Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Rajni is nothing but a hero of Tollywood and no one gives fark about tollywood except south Indians. Tollywood == Telugu; Kollywood == Tamil. KTHXBAI.
Texy Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 tex - Haven't u seen Andha Kanoon, HUM? I saw Hum and thought it was dubbed by someone else....I was also surprised to see Asin speak hindi ....didn't Trisha just debut in bollywood with someone?
SachDan Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 I saw Hum and thought it was dubbed by someone else....I was also surprised to see Asin speak hindi ....didn't Trisha just debut in bollywood with someone? In Akshay Kumar's 'khatta meetha' ( remake of one of the biggest hits in malayalam, 'vellanakulude naadu') directed by copycat Priyadarshan.

DomainK Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I saw Hum and thought it was dubbed by someone else....I was also surprised to see Asin speak hindi ....didn't Trisha just debut in bollywood with someone? Rajnikanth has acted in a quite a few Hindi movies and obviously can speak good Hindi. In fact he has done more tha 25 Hindi movies. Never really got much success though.
jusarrived Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 its got nothing to do with South vs North ....personally am not a huge movie buff ,but Tamil movies(not all south indian) are leagues ahead of Bollywood even though I dont understand a word of Tamil . Hindi movies are just about over acting and looking pretty .
