Ram Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Cant wait for it.. In terms of script, cannot expect too much from a Shankar, but there are few directors in india who can match his levels of production quality.. And of course, Thalaivar is , welll, Thalaivar… :bandit: :yay:

Rajiv Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Some people will never learn, this crap is still produced
lonestarranger Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Some people will never learn' date=' this crap is still produced[/quote'] Let's see who's laughing off with all the money at the end. Turns out there ARE takers.. and judging by sheer numbers, a lot!
Texy Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 even if it was a short documentary film of Rajni pooping..all of chennai would have made it a huge hit....doesn't matter 200. 400, 500 crores ....guaranteed profit:--D
Online Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Just looking at the film poster in the OP makes it look bad...........everything fake except the head :giggle: even the hair on the head is fake :D but Thalaivar
Zap_Brannigan Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 even if it was a short documentary film of Rajni pooping..all of chennai would have made it a huge hit....doesn't matter 200. 400' date=' 500 crores ....guaranteed profit[/quote'] and that would still be a better movie than what comes out of bollywood.
satishg Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 They might have spent a truck load of money by being the most expensive film.......but the graphics will still be subpar and cringeworthy.:headshake: Just looking at the film poster in the OP makes it look bad...........everything fake except the head :giggle: as someone pointed out above, that is a fan made poster. The actual promos for the movie looks pretty cool, and from whatever videos that have been released the CGI is pretty good and state of the art. Given the budget and director Shankar's technical acumen, you can be guaranteed that this would be the first really good sci-fi movie on Indian celluloid. The script, oh well, that is another matter all together. But who cares about the script when Rajinikanth is there
