we move around nonstop. not like a marathon though :giggle:
Football is perfect example of HIIT . You do short sprint and jog around for a bit and again you do a sprint. it is much harder. Ofcourse it also depends on what your position is and how intense the game is. Best overall exercise has to be swimming.

The midfielders (esp. the playmakers and dribblers) of both sides holds the ball most of the time. They usually run for the longest time than others. The box to box midfielder is will have the most pressure and needs a lot of stamina. It's hard to find players for that position here. strikers have the least pressure. it's the job of midfielders to ease him up so that he don't mess up during crucial times.

I play basketball, which is similar in terms of activity levels to football.

True. I used to dabble at football a long time and it was exhausting.

^ My dad warned me not to play basketball when I was a kid. he said i would become a very tall stickman, like a giraffe. :giggle: But agreed, basketball is also a high intensity game like football. need more dexterity and agility.

Agree' date=' that's kiddie stuff compared to Insanity. I have it. But never got past a couple of workouts. That said I now can survive almost all the workouts in P90X and P90X2.[/quote'] Thinking of trying Insanity but i am not sure if i would like it. Is there a trial video somewhere which introduces me to this workout program. I dont want to waste 100 pounds on something if i decide to quit soon.

From what i have heard people would be scared every day before the start. But in my view if we fail so what.. keep pushing until your body gets used to it.. You are not going to be judged anyway. No pain No Gain. Any exercise needs lot of motivation. More you are motivated better you will be. I realize that while dead lifting. Majority of your strength comes from strong motivation. Even if it drops by 1% you can't even move.

Trust me dude.. Insanity is awesome.. I don't want to sound like those ad salesman but this program starts showing results in first 2 weeks... I went from 97 kgs to now 79.5kgs in 3.5 months purely with Insanity and Weight Training... I have never been this fit and strong before... Yes starting the video use to scare me but after 2 months, your endurance and stamina goes high and you look forward to it...
