having SI joint pain since Thursday after lifting badly. now another break from gym. :wall: :((
Toughest thing for me is the break. For any reason if i am forced to take a break i become very disappointed.

Yeah. It takes a lot of momentum. It keeps you fresh and intense exercises makes you feel better on a tense day.

Insanity is a two month routine ....he did it twice means he did it for 4 months. Get it. My husband has finished 2 months and gained 1 kg...He didn't have much to lose in the first place. His T shirts are getting tighter in the arms. I have lost 300 gms in 3 weeks(first week not done seriously.) But my jeans is fitting much better.Don't have to struggle to button up .:P

I did insanity for like 45 days as per Shaun T and did it seriously. I also didnt lose weight with it but it built up stamina, strength and i also lost some fat. So, dont expect weight lose by a huge amount but do expect good thngs for yourself.

Went to gym..but still feeling irrotating left lower back discomfort...looks like a pinched nerve..
Dont try to do weights, back pains could become a big pain in ass. I could ignore most other pains but if i ever had back pain, i would avoid gym as it could become severe with a little bit of weight trng. Avoid gym wld be my advice

Not doing exercises that put high pressure on back. Only biceps, triceps and chest bench presses.

Massaging the lower back by mixing two Ayurvedic oils. Rhue oil made by Ban labs and Mahavishgarbha oil by Baidynath. Mixed them and massaged and it worked wonders. Far better than the treatment I had by PT doctor for 3 days. Pain sensation is very dim now. Will take Erand Pak and Yogaraj Guggulu from Baidyanath when they are available. These special Ayurvedic medicines mentioned in old Ayurveda texts for these issues. Ayurveda does work.

I am in a fat shredding mode. Not going to worry about a bit of muscle loss.
I have lost 15 kg but dont think I have lost any muscle mass yet, in fact, gained.

So played office football, discovered I was in terrible shape (hardly do any cardio in the gym, mostly lifted weight as I love that and am not fat), and ended up with a knee ligament strain. Laid low for a few weeks (which explains the increased postings here) and now it's been a month with no gym. I would like to focus on my legs a bit and my core from now on. Any suggestions?

For core if you mean abs nd stomach area then 2 best exercises are pull ups and push ups as a lot of strength comes from core. Also, try HIIT 100, really good programme, i have started following it for 1 week but already feel really good as its different than usual gym trngs.

Hi guys, pleaaaaaase suggest some healthy beverages to drink between meals to avoid unhealthy snacking. I drink fresh coconut water and orange juice.. but apparently the sugary orange juice is no good

In no particular order though green tea is one I would recommend from personal experience 1. Continue with tender coconut water 2. Water :--D 3. Green Tea with lime , honey, ginger, etc ( Tetley Tea bags are OK to start ) 4. Any seasonal fruit juice ( keep changing them ) - watermelon, orange, pineapple 5. Vegetable juices made from carrots, beetroot, green leafy vegetables ( curry leaves one is my favorite )
