in an India match. To be honest, with increasing amount of cricket and not necessarily of highest quality and my growing cynicism in general, I probably have lost my emotional connect with the game. I remember in 90s when India basically lost most of the matches or collapsed at most vital moment, egs:- Barbados test or ODI final in SA where Dravid played a blinder, test against Pak in chennai and innumerable such instances. But since then not much until the ODI against Aus. where Sachin scored 175. It has to be the greatest ODI innings ever played.

Back to the thread topic, I've never shed a drop of tear because of an Indian loss. In other words, results in cricket has never made me cry. Heck, I've never even come close to crying because of it.

After 2003 WC final loss... infact not after the loss. When Sachin got out cheaply. I wanted to perform on the biggest stage possible and was dissapointed when he did not. And anyways I knew we would lose after he got out.

Chennai test 1999 (vs Pakistan). But Sachin compensated somehow for that in Chennai Test 2008 (vs England). Would have cried after Barabdos test (1997) as well had I been watching that live.

1999 c Akram b Saqlain Well I was like 11 back then and to me the game was in its purest form, its not suprizing my 9 year old cousin doesnt give a **** about the game today knowing about the murky background of the game. re. kushi ke aasu I think it was the Quarter Final against Pakistan 96 WC. The best moments in cricket were all pre 2000, the game really lost its charm after that.

i have not cried after india losing a match but i was very sad and depressed after india lost to aus @ home. Before that when india lost the semi final, i was so sad that i skipped dinner and thats like more than crying for me. In personal life, i am a very emotional person and cry if there is a build up of emotions. It happens once every few years.

2003 world cup final i cried for two days i couldnt control my emotions i think i ll cry again when God of cricket retires in future.
