Wrong guy for 4th Inn. But who knows? There is a first for everything :winky: I hope Murali Vijay and Pujara overcome the pressure, we need all our batsmen to fire.
I will take a quick fire 35 from Viru , makes all the difference chasing down small totals

I will take a quick fire 35 from Viru ' date=' makes all the difference chasing down small totals[/quote'] Viru is key. You are right. Infact if Viru does not fire, not sure if they'll try to settle for Draw instead. 90+ runs were scored in 1st sessions of days 1,2,3. Given it is day 5, I think probably only 70-80 runs will be scored in each session since run scoring will be harder (unless Viru fires). So, two sessions plus some overs, means about 160-185 can be chased (max 200). Depends on what total Aus sets - can they set 230, 240? That may be a bit tough to reach, and we'll need a Viru special. If Viru goes, the rest of the team may batten down the hatches.

Let's so India!! :two_thumbs_up: A little :secret: Whenever India bats, I put on my gloves and even pads, and bat alongside the batsmen by mirroring their shots. It feels like you're actually in the game and the pressure eases a bit. And it also helps in your game. Double the benefits :--D

given india's traditional and age old problems with removing the tail. expect a 50+ partnership and a target closer to 250. that on a crumbling surface with a crumbling batting lineup means things will get very interesting. verdict - close game. either india or australia to win or a draw.

Indian v AUstralia tests produce the highest quality of entertainment than any other series, partly down to fact we have a better team player by player and the rivalry and tenses that have built up over the years, which causes Bhajji to fire like today and Ponting to crumble! The arrogance of the aussies is annoying and this is the only way to shut them up and show everyone how overrated they are. 2moro is likely a draw but if theres any result it will be an India win. As pointed out depends how Sehwag does, maybe Sehwag - Tendulkar opening, then Dhoni, Vijay and Pujara and if wickets tumble send in the wall! Great team performance by every single person, even sreesanth has done well despite figures.

Huh? Punter (as a bat) has done well in this series, esp. if you take the Bhajji vs Punter duels - punter has won those.

Rahul should come to the party and we need him the most because this target cannot be achieved by SRT alone. Since Viru is a hit or miss, Rahul is the only other experienced campaigner and he needs to fire on all cylinders tomorrow. We want the old RSD back just for tomorrow

Play with the straight bat and only score with conservative shots. SRT@Sydney type batting is the only way he can come back to form when in such situation.

Yeah that 241 was just :hail: But coming on topic, Dravid should not go in a shell, because then, he will feel even more uncomfortable, without some runs against his name.We need him to play like he did in the first innings of Mohali Test.He is an excellent player, and if he cuts down the cover drive, Aussies will try something new as they can't afford to waste time, so they will try something, and if dravid gets on top of them at that time, it will be very tough for the Aussies to break The Wall.

Perfectly fine, Bossbhai. I am impressed with Baasu's batting :winky: And the legend Wall will also hopefully make a comeback to good form.

I think Pujara should play at #3 followed by Tendu. Dravid can play at #5 if needed and rest as same. Just swapping positions of Dravid and Pooja.
Chances for that is much less' date=' he had a pretty good season in Aus right? Sure, can't judge by that alone, still he looks better than Raina atleast on paper.[/quote'] Self promotion time :--D
