The last time he played on this ground he got 159. I hope he will repeat his heroics in the 2nd test too. All the best Pujara. Cos we all know that the boy is class, possible ATG for India in my opinion.

express bowling Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I really like the way Pujara has played on the back foot to the seamers. Some good hooks, pulls & cuts albeit on a slow track. Good backfoot play against pace is a must for success overseas.

Sticking my neck out to say Pujara is a better all round player, with perhaps a richer repertoire of shots at the same stage of his career than Dravid was. Pujara surely a better player of spin than Dravid during his early days in int'l cricket. Only time will tell how close to Dravid he can go in terms of achievements.

He didnt have a great season like last year but still was decent. He too had a not out 100 in Irani match against bowling attack including Yadav, Ojha, Ishant, Harmeet and one more bowler I think Chawla. that was onw of the best innings I saw in domestic cricket, chanceless and no bowler could trouble him.
