Call him anything guys' date=' bu ?I like this guy's attitude. He seems apt to lead this team.[/quote'] +1 ..I like his attitude too. Plus he is always smiling and gives an impression that he is a positive person and a positive cricketer even when he knows people are blaming him. Seems to me that he doesnt command a lot of respect from his team. However, just picture this, if India were to have Darren Sammy playing for the team, he would be one of the star players ! You dont get a lot of players who have it in them to balance their batting and bowling and Sammy seems to be doing that!

I rate Sammys captaincy and feel if he was captain of team with good players he would do really well. Limited player maybe. But good captain, not easy leading windies and their non fighting attitude but seems to be driving them forward

Averages less than 30. These guys criticize Dhoni's test batting skill while they have never even produced a test wk-batsman with avg higher than 30. Heck' date=' even Pappu patel is better than Latif.[/quote'] he played in the 90s .... In 90s which keeper batsman was averaging in 30s apart from alec stewart.... I am not saying he was special but not really a bad test player by anymeans was a gem ofa keeper

at Sabina park has given second life to Dravid's career. Must be one of the costliest catches of all time.
For us one of the most profitable misses of all time..:two_thumbs_up:

Totally agree with the OP. I remember everyone was against Dravid as he was such a massive fail before that match. Failed in OZ, RSA, in NZ..after that innings, he is a totally different cricketer though m still not his fan

Costliest drop I have seen is Gibbs' drop of Steve Waugh in WC 99 which kick-started Australian dynasty. Who knows what could have happened if Gibbs had caught Waugh - maybe SA would have won the WC in 99 and started their own WC winning legacy for the next 2 WCs as well.

cuz S Tiwary is actually a genuine matchwinner in T20s and ODIs ...and tbh we all watch sports for entertainment.....isn't that the whole purpose behind following a sport....and I prefer bowlers uprooting stumps and batsmen playing agressive cricket... and sadly Dravid doesn't do either of that...

And who knows that Hansie after winning world cup could not be involved in Match Fixing and he could have been alive by now

Dravid didn't become a magic man after the drop. You need strong technique, skill to negotiate swing bowling from inform English bowlers. Not dropped catch from Sammy. For the record Raina also did well in that series. But brutally exposed in England. He made a 40 in the first innings anyway. Yes he was the least inform batsmen among Laxman, Tendulkar, Sehwag, Gambhir. But still not terrible.

Dude have you seen Tiwary play in that innings against NZL with YKP....that was just  Please don't ever mention Dravid and S.Tiwary in the same sentence....that is like using foul language in a temple.
