Ram Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Dhoni’s ODI captaincy record is not as good as it should be. Given our batting potential, we should have won a lot more than we have so far, under him. But a few ODI tournaments have slipped through the cracks under his captaincy (Asia Cup 2008, Kitply Cup, Champions Trophy, Tri series in B’desh, Recently concluded series in Lanka..). When it comes to bilateral series however, it’s a different story altogether. We have breezed over most of our opponents in the last 2 years. Dhoni’s win % is around 58. Though that is quite good, if we fulfill our potential, we can take it to around 65, which I think is the benchmark for a truly dominating team.
ZodiaC Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 No brah he scored many important fifties while chasing from 2007 coming in at situation when India were 3 down and were in a bit Effy situation. I dont have stats...but if i search i can surely show. He is an important member of ODI side not just as a leader but also as a batsman.:icflove: I agree Ands, just saying that you can't judge it by averages. Case in point, Raina :icflove:
