Has any one seen Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowl here ?

Saw him bat today & was pleasantly surprised ...may be cos I had an impression that he was a Sanjay Bangar category all rounder ..pretty decent technique , though his batting record suggest you otherwise he looked quite sound to me & played some classy shots . so has anyone seen him bowl ? from what I have heard hes a 125mph type bowler ...but even if hes half decent with the ball, its worth keeping an eye on this kid (only 19) ...a ODI prospect for sure imo .

Well..we seem to have many promising youngsters in the Ranji league. To the list add sandeep bhavanaka from hyderabad , 18-year old debutant who scored a century against Jharkand in the plate league(and this is his first ranji match).

Tyagi has been fastest bowler in the game..LOL At times ball at 137 kmph but avg. would be 130-131

picked up four wickets & from what I saw ..he was just ok , though can swing a bit , but considering that he can bat that's handy ..scored a fifty again today.....I have hopes from this kid.

dont know about that , but in this case its totally acceptable as the spot he will be taking is of an all rounder . Superb bowling effort again , 4 more wickets in second innings ..8 in total for the match & scores of 47 & 55 in two innings . I really cudnt distinguish between Tyagi and Kumar , very similar actions & if you believe the speed guns there wasn't much difference in their pace either

He is Praveen Kumar mould as far as bowling goes. Can Swing In and Out. Great wrist position etc.

he is more like praveen kumar.....very effective with new bowl.....swings it in and out with good control....I really like this guy as he can bat and have decent technique......very susceptible to short deliveries but that nothing new for Indian batsmen..,,,, defined a guy to watch out for .....and i think he makes into indian team before pathan

I'm not a fan of trundlers but was quite impressed with this guy on the few occasions I've seen him. Very smooth action and as others have said, similar to PK in that he can swing it both ways. Would rather he was given a shot rather than the Vinay variety if we are gonna persist with Kumars.

That's the most impressive thing about him. I only saw him in the IPL but i loved his action. Anyone know what his batting is like>
