Sachin=GOD Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 South Africa look like a very good professional outfit- Chokers? Sri Lanka look good but there batting relies on sanga and Mahela could let them down. Windies = Raw talent but no team formula Pakistan = Not consistent but match winners present India= Good batting but death bowling is shocking England = Trott at NO3 is a disaster waiting to happen, Bresnan aswell Australia = Not a settled side, Tait,Lee,Nannes,Johnson - Firepower is there, avoid injuries NZ = They always make Semis but they won't go further than that stage that would leave only Zimbabwe and Bangladesh as serious contenders according to you. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
jf1gp_1 Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 has to be pakistan as they are bowling power house and batting beast
vvvslaxman Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 whichever team has yusuf pathan will win the tournament.
Nirvanam Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I voted for SL just for the heck of it... Having said that, whenever India has gone into a multi-national tournament as the absolute favorite, insha allah, we have managed to pull it off. Instances as follows - Benson and Hedges 1985 - we entered the tournament as the absolute favorites and pulled it off. Hero Cup 1993 - same case Champions Trophy 2002 - joint winners Some will argue about Nehru Cup and WC 87, 96 as well. However, if you remember in both 87 and 96 we were definitely one of the favorites but not the favorite. In 87, both Pak and Ind were equal favorites along with WI (although WI screwed up big time). In 96 SA was the absolute favorite and they choked absolutely. Maybe Hero Cup we can argue that SA was also an equal contender but my memory sez we were expected to win it. During Nehru Cup there were multiple favorites including Ind, Pak, WI, and England. I maybe wrong about 2002 Champions Trophy...we were not clear favorites then I guess. But still, I believe India will win the WC in 2011. I get the feeling that it is "fixed" by destiny. The public consciousness has just willed an Indian WC victory most importantly as a gift for Sachin Tendulkar. We'll win it guys...this is ours and this is the least the current lot can do to recognize and repay the genius called Sachin. We have won the WC 2011. Sealed!
vaibhav_delhi Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 What about Dhoni? well he may play a few crucial probably match winning knocks. Sehwag will do bulk of the scoring me thinks.

flamy Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 I think England and SL have a serious chance, England more so.
Bradman99 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 India should win the WC. They have the best side and are in fantastic form.
ravishingravi Posted December 12, 2010 Author Posted December 12, 2010 5 votes for Pak ? I don't think even the most fanatic fans of Pak. believe it.
pensionplan Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Voted for Australia. Does not matter who we vote for at this stage. I would want a poll like this, once the Quarter Final line ups are set.
