Baasir
Abdul Haq,who was born in Wazirstan, played some cricket at under 19 level and then poverty forced him to abandon cricket and he went to Abu Dhabi and was working as a heavy truck driver in Abu Dhabi. He impressed Pakistani coach Waqar and Aqib with his express pace at Abu Dhabi when he was bowling with pak team during the recently concluded series and was subsequently called upon at NCA Lahore. He is now training with pak team at Lahore.Waqa who himself was a speedstar at early in his career and has also been around with akhtar, must have seen somthing extra ordinary in him regarding pace.Haq is said to bowling at high 90s mph. That is serious pace.World may well see a new speedster at WC, The Wazirstan Express. It seems Pakistan pace battery will never cease. sandeep
Jamdul-ul-Bashir-ul-katloo-ul-ulloo is the next pace sensation waiting to burst upon the cricket scene. He was discovered running at rapid pace in the mountains near tora-bora - trying to hit the drones in the sky with stones. Impressed with his powerful chucking motions, Pakistan coach-at-large Imran-ur-playboy-ur-pseudo-politician, called up the current General in charge and requested that he be inducted into the Pak NCA immediately. Speaking to the famous JANGIA news agency, coach Fatqar younis said - "Jamdul is still a raw talunt - but his jazba-junoon is unmatched. Contrary to other phaasht throwers, we have to tell him to slow down in practice, because sometimes he runs so phaasht his chaadis start smoking due to the high friction. Its either that, or the poyzz have been doing some extra training in academy locker rooms with the new launda before practices". With talunted speedsters like Jamdul rising up on a regular basis, and also PCB's valiant and soon to be successful efforts to require home-umpire advantage for Pakistan tests (alhamdulliilallluuullaaaaluuuullilalah) - its only a matter of time until Pakistan climbs up to unprecedented 5th spot in the test ratings.
