kabira Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 The thing that SA scored so quickly they gave themselves lot of time here...generally to score 620 you need atleast 5 and half session if you RPO is 3 or so. If they had taken longer we would have saved this game easily..
vvvslaxman Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 lets see if India show some spine and take it to the 5th day at least. They have shown spine :winky:
putrevus Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 This Pitch is terrible, winning toss should never mean winning the match, Indians have done very well , they should be proud of their effort. 484 runs deficit and they have almost wiped it off with some luck They could have saved this match.

putrevus Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 what do you mean "they could have"' date=' there's still possibility of rain tomorrow [/quote'] I really hope so, it should rain all day tomorrow , those guys dont serve this win, common man it was seaming and swinging all over the place on day1 and nothing is happening since then. Indian scored @3.71 with so many runs back so it is no surprise SA scored their runs so fast they had no pressure at all. with 484 runs ahead they were have deep cover and no attacking fields shows how defensive minded they really are and how can you call their win as their superiority. When they batted 333 runs back in Kolkatta they shut their shop on scoring and looked just to survive but Indians did great here hats to their courage.
Fontaine Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 They won the toss...50% advantage there. Sreesanth in the final 11...remaing 50% advantage to SA. Ensuring total victory. :winky:
jusarrived Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 all I know is , we don't deserve to lose this one .
vvvslaxman Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 all I know is ' date=' we don't deserve to lose this one .[/quote'] Lack of practice matches. Whoever responsible for that has to take some blame.
dhillon28 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 they dont deserve to win- india deserve to draw day 1 we bat after four hours of rain and play on a seaming/bouncing track after sitting cold all day then finally we bowl and the sun bakes the whole wicket dry and makes it a batting beauty- an absoultely flat track then as soon as we bat again- overcast conditions come back/we play in poor light conditions/the track develops uneven bounce/the track starts turning and yet after day four we still continue to fight despite having almost no hope- and we dont deserve to draw the game?- that is seriously harsh

South Africa are a much better team than India as they really have won and played overseas more than India
kabira Posted December 20, 2010 Author Posted December 20, 2010 South Africa are much better team than India overseas?? basis of what?? They struggle in subcontinental condition, could not win against weaklings like Pakistan. They are definately difficult side to beat at home just like how we are difficult to beat at same. SA played positive cricket, scoring over 200 runs in 2 and half hours was exceptional
DomainK Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 This one, they definitely deserved to win. We got outplayed comprehensively.
straight.drive Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 But one thing is pretty evident, we deserved to loose with an ineffective useless bowling.

DomainK Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 We deserved to draw this one. Did we now, I dont think so.
Chalks Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Yep, RSA have won one whole series in Australia to our none, but their record at home v Aus is exceptionally poor since returning from isolation - lost four series (1997, 2002, 2006 and 2009) and drawn one (1994). At least in that period we've beaten Australia at home every time except 2004. As for the current series, RSA walloped us good and proper in this Test - and fair play to them :hatsoff: - but we will bounce back. :two_thumbs_up:
kabira Posted December 20, 2010 Author Posted December 20, 2010 They have beaten us and Australia consistency at their backyards. by beaten you mean Test matches?? and we have not?? They won in Australia that was their best achievement. But they have not won in SL...whereas we drew there last time. We have our set of challenges when we tour places like SA and Australia. They have their set of challenges when they tour subcontinent...
