There are lots of pakis disguised as indians roaming around on icf.
..they realized the reality and couldn't help bowing down to their source

One bowler.. One bowler, who was being developed by DRDO (Defence Research &Developement Organisation) was definitely Protien guzzling and Meat eating too..But sadly he ditched us.. ATUL SHARMA.. :hitler:

who is the 18 year old 150k bowler in newzealand..right now there is not a single 150kph bowler in the world..after akhtar' date=' lees, bond..i do not see any bowler bowling over 150 kph in tests...forget about a full over or spell even just 6 bowls in a 6 over spell..can u name anyone?[/quote'] Adam Milne. He was clocked in the high 140's during the CL and then during New Zealand's domestic summer he's been clocked at over 150K at times. I watched him bowl when his team went up against CSK and he had Raina in all sorts of problems. Shane Bond's coaching him too and apparently he's helped add 10K's in three months. Maybe that is what India needs, someone like Bond coaching?

adam milne! I do not believe..in Cl against CSK he got raina in trouble..raina is always troubles against short pitch bowling...he was just bowling around 132 which I saw then..he was mostly below 135..he was getting good bounce being a tall man.... u forgot Ishant too has bowled 150s in CB series australia..he was consistently in 90 mph then...Munaf patel has bowled 145sa against England in 2006... Clocking those speeds here and there doesnt mean anything until its consistent..dont believe Milne though he still has to bowl at the top level..lets see how much he can sustain if he bowls that quick....though i am sure he wont even touch 145..

People are wrong when they claim "Red Meat" is the reason of lack of Fast bowlers in India I am a Muslim and I am a Pakistani and I have eaten Red Meat since childhood. I want to make it clear to Indian friends that blaming lack of Red Meat is not the right direction to go. Let me tell you the reasons: 1. It is Overall Eating Habits of Indians which have resulted in poor and tiny body structure. 2. Indians eat a lot of non-healthy food. Their ceremonies contain foods which are very very Sugar Rich. Ludo and other hundreds of types of "Mithai" etc. Also "Puri" and "Pakooray" are also very very OIL Rich and absolutely not healthy. 3. According to research in Europe, the Lentils (Daal) is also not a good source of energy. Indians also eat a lot of Daal, which is even worse than meat. 4. Then come the usage of excessive Spices. These spices are absolutely not good for health. I stopped eating Pakistani hot spices (as I am in Europe for a long time) and then my skin started becoming better and better. My daughter is also not eating the spices and she has a very smooth and beautiful skin with reddish shades at her face (just like beautiful the European children). 5. Usage of Salads (i.e. fresh non-cooked food) is also not usual in Indian society. 6. In Pakistan, Karachi is a city where people mainly came from India (after Partition). Their eating habits are the same as in India. And look what ... even Karachi is not producing the Fast Bowlers. There people are also tiny as compared to Punjab and other areas. India needs to change the eating habits as a Nation. Red meat is not a problem. It never gives you energy etc. But the main problem is over all healthy diet which consists of low Fat diet, low sugar diet, more fresh salads etc. So dear friends, come out of this Red Meat problem and you should look at diet as whole thing which consists of many factors. Pollution in India should also be stopped. Good water should be provided. Fish is better sources of proteins as compared to red meat. Lentils are not good source of energy and proteins.

You can attribute that towards fitness, meat = power, is red meat the only source? if Unadkat is fed beef for the next 1 year everyday, you think he will be lethal fast bowler and add + 7 kph speed? Lets Mcgrath for eg., regardless of him eating meat or not, u think meat played a role for his line and length? Also, u think these guys gulp pounds and pounds of meat? or is part of their meal? Kapil was a great bowler, someone from haryana - his diet must have included lot of diary, pulses and chicken ( not red meat )
A healthy balanced diet is required to be a top athlete, obviously bowlers dont eat raw meat everyday. You need a balance of Carbs, Protein etc. Its also due to genetics with the amount of fast twitch muscle fibres in a person which Indians are at a disadvantage. Also the gym plays a crucial role in bowling fast as you have seen England pull bowlers out of series for strength and conditioning programmes.

He is faster than Steyn for sure.

OMG' date=' the amount of nonsense peddled in the name of 'expertise' in this thread is mind-boggling. :hysterical:[/quote'] Im no expert but what I have said is accurate. Just basic sports science knowledge actually.

yeah he is faster than steyn..but fast bowlers touching 150ks has been rarity in the last one year..except when tait bowled his 93-97 mph deliveries in England ODI series

serani, i agree with you but everybdy else is at an equal disadvantage regarding the fast twitch muscles compared to the windies guys.

Yes true, im sure there will be more express bowlers uncovered in the near future.
serani' date=' i agree with you but everybdy else is at an equal disadvantage regarding the fast twitch muscles compared to the windies guys.[/quote'] Yes thats true the Afro caribbeans will always have an advantage over the competition, thats why the WI will always have bowlers capable of 90 mph +, just look now they have Taylor, Roach and Edwards. Pace is no worry for WI bowlers, just the basics like line and length etc.
