zen Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Only reason I would want India to win the toss is because our bowling attack is comparatively weak so I would want them to make the most of the conditions on day 1 and day 2 .... I wouldn't want to win the toss so that our batting line up can be shielded. It calls itself the best batting line up in the world so I could expect them to rise up to the challenge Apart from the what I said above, you worry about the toss if you have an neither here nor there bowling attack like 2 seamers and 2 spinners. When you have 2+2, you want to bat first. Here we are playing 3+1 in conditions that could possibly be "sporting" so rather than worry about the toss, Ind should be focused on delivering its best If we have to bat first, we have to make sure that we get more than what we think SA can get in the 4th inning and then match SA's first inning's score with our 2nd innings :winky:
