velu Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 hyderabadi food beats every other food in this world, and i am not a telugu guy.. :eating: IMO mallus are the most polite and friendly frm my experience among the southies followed by kannadigas (applying Indian standards ).. kannadigas are really kewl even to tamilians most of the times ..

Except MP whose people I found generally friendly, I found people of Delhi, Up and haryana very rude both in their language and behavior. I don't know much about punjab and bihar. As far as uttarakhand gharwale region is concerned, they are more of silent type and don't like to interact with outsiders. Southies are far more friendlier than northies any day.

B'lore isn't that great when it comes to inexpensive food joints but Andhra and Kerala has amazing food and they are usually found in small joints. I would do anything to eat in Allapuzha, next to the canal where you find heavenly food. +1. Have been there. The problem for visitors is, while they taste the Kerela food for the first time, it tastes wierd. It takes 2 or 3 days to get used, and then it tastes wonderful. Their home food will taste wierd for few days once they return.

I found the food in Jaipur and Gujarat better than any other food in India.

In my locality in bangalore, there are more north indian restaurants than south. So when I travelled north I didn't find anything special which I have not tasted.

Kababs in Shivajinagar, Chinese in Indra and Jaya Nagar and the list goes on. I hate vegetarian dishes of South and North beats us to that but the Non-Veg in South, specially in Hyderabad and Kerala. :eating: :drooling:
