Jersey #10 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Alan Donald? :hmmm: considering we need a lot more help in the bowling department than the other counterpart? @ options Greg
jibranpatel15 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 INDIA certainly needs an inspirational coach like Gary who does things & then tells players/ appriciate players for something by himself. I feel Shane Warne/Wasim Akram is the best choice available & final choice could be Warne after seeing his ability to push players tto perform and fill confidence in them in Rajasthan team. Especially when VVS'Dravid & Sachin retires INDIA will surely need Warne or someone like him for sure. :two_thumbs_up:
Zelig Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Arun Lal :beee: PS> All Fleming has done so far is coach a T20 side :headshake: Gary was coaching Warriors and had his own Academy before he became Team India coach, btw.
Desi Cartman Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Azhar as fielding coach Prabhakar as Bowling coach Jadeja as head and batting coach
vamos_rafa Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 LalChand Rajput. He was the one under whom we did tremendously well. We won against SA in Ireland, England test series and almost the 1 day series in 2007, T20 WC, Pakistan and then 2007 Aus tour. It was a pity that he was replaced by Gary inspite of delivering miraulcous results.
Bublu Bhuyan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'd love to have Shane Warne as the coach.
rkt.india Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Arun Lal :beee: PS> All Fleming has done so far is coach a T20 side :headshake: Gary was coaching Warriors and had his own Academy before he became Team India coach, btw. Gary wasnt warriors coach...he was giving coaching only in his academy...nothing else...he was the least experience in coaching when selected
Bumblebee Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'd love to have Shane Warne as the coach. coaches with high egos have never been sucessful with team india!
vamos_rafa Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Azhar as fielding coach Prabhakar as Bowling coach Jadeja as head and batting coach Fixed :--D
The Rock Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Sad to see only 3 people want The Chappal back :headshake:
Bublu Bhuyan Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 coaches with high egos have never been sucessful with team india! Shane Warne has been controversial throughout his career. Add to that his charm and charisma has always ensured the spotlight to shine on him. But I don't think he can termed 'egotistical'.
achilles Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 There's more to cricket coaching than coaching CSK. I'd pick a World Cup Winning Lalchand Rajput over anyone in the world.
achilles Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 coaches with high egos have never been sucessful with team india! Coz our players have massive egos of their own.
