bulbul Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Harris is very fragile and I do not see him surviving much. IMO, I am more impressed from James Pattinson rather than Cummins in terms of bowling action and the ability to move the ball which Cummins lacks as his seam position is not the balanced, tilting to one side. Cummins, Pattinson, Siddle, and Mitchell Starc/James Faulkner/Kane Williamson. This is future attack for Australia. u didnt add Ben cutting ..... Trundler ? :winky:
bulbul Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 IIRC' date=' Mitchell Johnson has always troubled Indians, specially right handers with that awkward angle. I would rather like not to face him, however crap he has become.[/quote'] they will play Bollinger...if Johnson failed in 2nd innings
rkt.india Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 u didnt add Ben cutting ..... Trundler ? :winky: No Ben Cutting is not actually a trundler but i do not find him as good as Cummins, Pattinson, or Starc. He is pretty much like Jade Dernback.
Cricket Tragic Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I'd be surprised if Johnson is still in the side when we play India. With Harris to come back and Cummins bowling better than Johnson' date=' he may just make way unless he steps up very quickly.[/quote'] I really rate Harris but his fitness is a massive concern. Not sure if Australia can actually plan their future bowling attack around him.
rkt.india Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 I really rate Harris but his fitness is a massive concern. Not sure if Australia can actually plan their future bowling attack around him. Agree. They should bring James Pattinson into their plans soon.
Trichromatic Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 6 wickets in 2nd innings. Very good performance on debut.
Sooda Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Lyon, Sunny, Bracewell, Philander, Ashwin and Cummins - six debutants have taken 5-fors since August
Bradman99 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I really rate Harris but his fitness is a massive concern. Not sure if Australia can actually plan their future bowling attack around him. Probably not, but we can't plan it around Johnson either. I know who I would prefer out of Johnson and Harris. If Harris is injured, I'd rather see Pattinson play then Johnson. As for Cummins, what a talent. At 18 and getting 6 wickets against SA, class act.
Sid Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Great talent and scary thing is he is gonna improve in coming years.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to watching Pattinson as well.
Dravid_TheWall Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 This guys is immense, what a prospect aged just 18. He can only get better.
VRV Singh Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Pretty amazing he has only played 3 first-class games, but he is here bowling 29 overs, maintaing speed and taking a 6fer on debut. :hatsoff:
MCcricket Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 WOW It is embarrassing when u read about the Australian cricket administration , CA and at state levels the amount of work, talent scouting they do, BCCI wonder what talent scouting, and state with board communication goes on in India, have u guys ever heard about that happening in India.
Trichromatic Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Man of the match in debut match. Is he new star of international cricket? Anyways, great performance.
Cricket_2_Death Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 He played very well, looks like a promising bowler. Should be a great contest against our batting line in Australia later.
rkt.india Posted November 21, 2011 Author Posted November 21, 2011 He played very well' date=' looks like a promising bowler. Should be a great contest against our batting line in Australia later.[/quote'] He will destroy our batting.:((
