Right from throwing stuff on Gavaskar in the 80s, through burning the stadium, having riots in the stadium, and booing the national team. Seriously we can easily nominate Bengal as the worst state in the nation replacing Bihar.

In a mail to BCCI president Shasank Manohar, ICC has rejected the request of the fresh deadline to Eden garden. The BCCI had sought time till February 7 to make the Eden Gardens fit to host India and England World Cup match on February 27. Four matches were originally scheduled to be played at Eden gardens. ICC will inspect Eden Gardens on January 31, 2011 for the remaining three World Cup matches. Eden Gardens was scrapped as a venue because it was not found ready for the next month's much-anticipated match. When an outsider will critisize, it's not city by city they will do so. Infact they will just say that the INDIANS are incompetent and can't get the jobs done. Bengal or not, it's still a part of INDIA!!! Indian cricket board should have taken the responsability to see through that the work was done on time. If anyone is to be blamed then i say we blame them!

If there weren't drastic improvements, then tell them to shove it. How can all the other grounds get extensions but not Eden Gardens What a pi$$take, most of the people travelling to India are going mainly because of Eden Gardens game :finger: CAB :finger: BCCI :finger: ICC
