Cricketics Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Sony vaio is known to have very low volume...dunno if they fixed it. Man couldn't agree more. I had one. But to be befrank i loved the laptop. It's a great laptop. Though man I dropped some juice on it. It'still working a bit.
Guest Gunner Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 What is the difference between a Intel P6100 and one of those core I3/I5 processors? If as a noob I wont be able to perceive the difference then its perfectly fine with me to buy either. Could you guys tell me more?
Desi Cartman Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I bought a new compaq for my Mrs. It has 3 GB ram and 250 HD .. It has a pretty decent processor as well. I paid A$400 :yay: .. If its for personal use then just get the cheaper one

Cricketics Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 What kind of juice are we talking about here? :hehe: It was either trpicana orange or Crienberry g**** 100% juice man. I remember i was chatting with a friend that time.. and freaking I think someone Indian bowler took a wicket and i got excited Jumped and freaking glass fell over the laptop. Laptop didn't go bad rite away. It worked, but then after it was shut down. It never started properly. Then after 1 year i turned it on, it was working again. 3 months later it stopped. Then again was working. Then last month same thing started happening. That juice actually fked the whole progamming of the keyboard.

Could you guys tell me more? you should see the difference. its like having a car with a 4 pot engine vs 1 with a v6. Both will work fine, but core i5/i3 will be faster.. It doesnt make sense getting a p6100 right now, i would recommend core i3/i5. especially if its ~30 quid more.
Sachin=GOD Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 get i7 Its useless unless someone wants to do some heavy stuff on the laptop. All the basic things can be handled extremely well by i3 or i5.
King Tendulkar Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Which is better i3 or i5? I assume its i5?
fineleg Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Which is better i3 or i5? I assume its i5? Overall, i7 > i5 > i3 but within each they have variations like i5-540M etc.
zen Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 It is always good to buy the best processor you can afford because it is harder to upgrade the processor later on than it is to upgrade RAM.
