Zelig Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 With his low arm action, he tends to bowl lotsa half trackers :agree: Sorry, don't like the idea.

Jersey #10 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 obsession! Sure, Kohli can run in and bowl 95kph pace balls....wtf?
Sir_Afridi Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Have you seen Virat Kohli bowl seam up? I've never. CT 2009 :--D Remember Sania husband century :yay:
Clarke Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 We didn't try him out in the warm up games. Other than facing Holland/Ireland, the time to experiment is OVER.
Desi Cartman Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 :hysterical::hysterical: Dhoni can also bowl his 135 kmph reverse swinging yorkers! :woot: Reminds me of Amits :woot:
pensionplan Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 When I read about options such as these the thing that comes to mind is it has disaster written all over it. So don't even try I say.

fineleg Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I think Kohli can bowl swingers like how Manoj Prabhakar used to bowl plus as a batsman he is going to be the next big thing anyways. WOW WHAT A COMBINATION Dont lose another of your laptop by spilling juice now!
Dinx - the Jinx Posted February 18, 2011 Author Posted February 18, 2011 So Kohli can bowl' date=' keep and bat? :giggle:[/quote'] isn't that a perfect package... and add future captain to it
sudheer kumar Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Can we expect Virat Kohli as bowling option? Virat Kohli............. Look so confident when he bats. Fields brilliantly in the ground. He has ability to bowl medium pace around 110kph - 120kph Indian squad is in 7+2+2 format Kohli can be helpful to the captain, If he learn to swing the ball. I mean Kohli should put his 100% effort on batting and fielding. But if he concentrates on bowling, Problem of Team India will be solved. He can be like Collingwood / Bravo for India. If he contribute 4-5 overs at five to six runs per over, that can be useful and pressure will be removed on Captain.
Jersey #10 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Our front line bowlers are getting smashed then what makes you think that Kohil won't be the oil thrown into fire?
sudheer kumar Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Our front line bowlers are getting smashed then what makes you think that Kohil won't be the oil thrown into fire? I said only as option........... that is captains perception to make him bowling

sudheer kumar Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Lot of bowlers have done well at that speed. You need some tricks up your sleeves. I just want him to be an all-rounder......... He can become Indian team captain in future. So he need to be in consistent form with bat, and should learn bowling tricks to secure his spot in the team. If Raina is in the final XI instead of Kohli, he may contribute 3-4 overs. Dhoni may think about Raina in final XI for next match. Any one of the top order batsmen will be rested in next match against Ireland.
dnmaru Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I have never seen him bowling.. But if it is true, he can be used like a surprise killer pack by Dhoni
