Sachin=GOD Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Excellent innings and he's surely back to his best now. :aha: :aha:
kabira Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Good thing is he did not squander the start and carried on even when he was dehydrated.
Ramzz Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 At this rate, we will be playing Sri Lanka and their spinners. Lets see how Yuvi does against them. Good knock today, well played!
coffee_rules Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 No point to be wary. Australia sees nobody batting beyond the top 4.
Shane Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Brilliant batting, despite facing dehydration throughout the innings and now takes two wickets. We need a red hot Yuvi in the quarters, remember the 2000 CT Quarter Final against Oz? Yuvi's debut.
satyam1729 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Has Yuvraj brought the momentum back ? Like 2007 T20 WC , he was the one who lifted India by his 6 sixes against England. And then we went on to win 4 games in a row . So has he done the same today.
Debutant Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Anybody remember that 70 odd from 30 balls against Aussies in the T20 07 .Hope we will see something better this time.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 20, 2011 Author Posted March 20, 2011 i still dont think he is anywhere near his best. but today was really tough for the batsmen. batting first in the sun was really difficult.
ludhianvi Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Dunno about the 'Yuvi is back' part and warning for Australia. One thing is for sure, even with his current style of play, Yuvi has been one of the most influential players in contributing wins for India both with the ball and bat. Before the WC, he was looking to play out most of the overs and be there to finish the games...looks like he's improving in that aspect. His three Man of the Match Awards have been instrumental in India qualifying for the next round. Today's inning was a fighting one and carrying on even with with cramps/dehydration. Great fight today. :yess:

kabira Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Australian attack will suit him, provided he gets past his initial jitters. He can have field day against Tait and Johnson.
