Its no way as exciting as Sky diving but is more relaxing .. especially when they almost drop you in the sea .. your feet touch the water and then they speed again, pulling you up ... All these things are too expensive for the time actually spent in air :hitler:

What about glasses ? Is there a danger they could fly off ? Another reason why I am thinking of getting laser eye surgery.

I guess it depends on the grip. If they fit you well and are not lose then u'll be fine

This is all the pre - sky dive training there is to it mate, Basically, the procedure goes in this order: 1. They weigh you. There is a weight limitation of 90 Kgs. Extra fees apply if you're over 90 Kgs. They also ask you if you previously underwent any surgeries, have any dislocations or any physical conditions that might impact your jump. 2. They ask you to put on a special harness, its via this harness you will be attached to your tandem instructor. 3. Outside, you're given a 10 minute briefing on what to expect and what to do during free fall and the parachute ride. They ask you to cross your arms, roll your head back and jump ... Than, the instructor does the rest. And thats it! Next thing you know, you're on the plane and flying to the jump altitude. The guy who I did it with has 10, 000 belts under his belt and has been doing this since 1977. Don't worry, you're in safe hands. Re free fall, the wind is extremely ferocious up there --- I don't recommend you eat/drink anything prior to the jump. The second best part is when you open the door, feel the wind against your face and think to yourself ... **** yea, this is it, lets DO IT. Thats next on my bucket list. Actually waiting in the queue is terrific as well. It reminded me of band of brothers, difference being you're just hurting the planet by burning fuel instead of saving it from fascists :--D

This was done by a mate of mine in New Zealand. Wheres my jump was filmed by the Tandem Instructor, he paid a special free fall camera man to shoot his. You can see his legs in the lower right corner of the picture. I have absolutely no idea why he is so completed rugged up -- the helmet, hand gloves, thick external suit etc. I didn't wear any of these when I did my tandem
