I must say suddenly that this Pakistan team is looking quite dangerous. The batting is looking strong while in bowling, the spinners, particularly Afridi have done well till now. I hope they don't win it though :--D

The advantage pakistani team is that of pretty low expectations. In absence of pressure, they are performing well. Today the toss of coin helped them. If there were some due and lesser spin, surely their attack would have struggled. On a related note,toss would have great influence on the outcome of the matches in this WC.

My point is they look good because of the toss. But they are far from dangerous.

You're missing the point. If Pakistan were a poor team they would have lost despite batting first at Premadasa. That they won and delivered a par result for Premadasa - where amongst equally matched teams the team batting first wins - goes to show that they are not in a different level of competition like WI, BD, and NZ. These three teams would have lost even if they batted first, like NZ lost to India at Premadasa.

They are actually looking good. They are playing as a team and it seems there is less friction within the players. The batting is good, bowling is effective, fielding is pathetic. They need to get rid of Akmal if they want to do well in the rest of the tournament.

what are you talking about. the chase was managable even the last 5 overs and some teams would have pulled off the 18 runs needed of the last over. sl did not lose all wickets.
