Ranvir Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Yeah but the sad fact is that the current "attack" is almost the 2003 bowling line up' date=' 8 years later, but now just old and past it :hysterical:[/quote'] Exactly, Nehra and Zaheer were wicket taking fast bowlers in that tournament but are now just trundlers.
cowboysfan Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 flat wicket means no wins in knockout, good chance we wont make it past qfs.
hari504504 Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 We are actually better-off playing on wickets that assist seam bowlers.. that way our batting neutralizes the opposition bowling and then our bowlers have something to work with
putrevus Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Chawla is not the answer you cannot play with two spinners and these trundlers not fair on chawla, either chawla or YP has to go for sreesanth or nehra

I don't see him as a captain that inspires his bowlers anymore..
Sachin=GOD Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Drop Yusuf and bring in Ashwin or Nehra. We just have to go with 5 specialist bowlers otherwise we can as good as say goodbye to the World Cup right now.

achilles Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 The result would've been different had Sree played. The captain should be professional if he didn't pick Sree for reasons other than the pitch.
Sooda Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 The result would've been different had Sree played. The captain should be professional if he didn't pick Sree for reasons other than the pitch. yes England would have won by now. Youre right it would have been different.
Sachin=GOD Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Play 6 batsmen? Today we couldnt even play out 50 Overs. we've seen this in the last match and in this match also - batsmen score huge runs but bowlers are simply unable to contain runs or take wickets at regular intervals. They conceded 280+ against Banglladesh and now England have nearly won the match with just 2 wickets down. All the bowlers, be it Zak or Bhajji, Munna or Sree, are failing miserabely, so IMO we have to bring in 1 extra bowler at the cost of a batsman and we can afford to drop a batsman because the entire batting line up looks to be in good touch right now.
Sachin=GOD Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 yes England would have won by now. Youre right it would have been different. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: so true!!
