Late Cut Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Makes me wonder if he is match fixer (decent amount of evidence to support this) or that incompetent; why this guy keeps getting picked, no one knows.
vvvslaxman Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Only in pakistan players like Kamran would play this many matches. Who am i kidding every single player in this team has had long mediocre periods.
ludhianvi Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Pakistan and in particular Kamran Akmal gifted Ross Taylor a few dropped catches on his birthday. The catch off Shoaib when Taylor had just come to the crease was such an easy catch.
Rajiv Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Butter fingers or gifted, Ross took full advantage and simply plastered them in the end. Mr. Aktar was lost as well
vvvslaxman Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Imagine they ask Umar to keep next match and Kamran to field and a catch goes to Kami and he floors it? :cantstop: Even with gloves he sucks. Without it it is going to be a nightmare for Afretard to hide him.
Ultimate_Game Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 I don't know how Pak can keep him in the team after today's performance. I mean the bowlers had a nightmare and their confidence took a major beating coz of Akmal. I say let Akhtar have a go at Akmal after the match :haha:
Iconoclast Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Well done Kamran .. singlehandedly gifted 150+ runs to NZ with his drops of Taylor and Styris. Seriously the ICC should investigate this turd and the selectors who keep picking him.
Karan114 Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Dont worry' date=' in the next match one bowler will bowl 152+ and you guys will forget all about it.[/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
nballa Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 the scary part is this guy is supposed to be at his peak ability right now. reminds me of my college cricket playing days where they had to introduce a new rule to not count byes and legbyes just to keep the score under control because of the quality of the keepers.
maniac Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Just found this while lurking on the padosi forum Hilarious Kamran Akmal Facts http://www.wellpitched.com/2011/03/kamran-fakmal-bashing-brigade.html
pinkfreud Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I just wanted to Thank him for his keeping today.. well done boy.. Doesn't Pak have a backup player or another option for wicketkeeping?
DomainK Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Doesn't Pak have a backup player or another option for wicketkeeping? The moment they look for a replacement, Umar Akmal will develop some sort of injury making himself unavailable till Kamran is back in the team.
pakexpress Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 Doesn't Pak have a backup player or another option for wicketkeeping? they do...Umar Akmal can keep and Asad Shafique has done in domestic..heck even MYK has done it before for paki..honestly Intikhab Alam will do a better job..the questions is if our team management will drop him and give someone else a chance.. we paki talk so much about his batting as if he is dhoni, gilly or sanga...
Sir john Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 isn't kamran pak all time best keepar batsman. :hmmm:
ganeshran Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Kakmal's continued inclusion in the team is a matter of mystery for me. How can they keep a player who costs them so many matches.

Are any of those folks you mentioned ^^ touring with the Pak playing XI? Because if that isn't the case then Pakistan's chances of going ahead in the KO stages will be very remote if Akmal still hovers around. How has Umar fared as a wicketkeeper so far?
FairCricket Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Behind every successful batsman there is Kamran Akmal :cantstop:

Think that SHAFIQUE is there with the team he is a middle order batsman and yes U.A kept wickets against ENGLAND during 3rd and 4th ODI when Kamran was injured i think
