Just becos MSD says "R Ashwin has more mental strength" he can be dropped and Chawla picked, and Ashwin can straight away play against SA? What Dhoni does is like a stubborn mule. I prefer Chawla over Ashwin if can regain some confidence & thats exactly what msd istrying to do .. Playing 3 offspinners in Harbajan , Ashwin and Pathan isnt ideal .

Its a deja vu,he did the same thing in last years T20 WC,playing Jadeja back to back .Now he is stuck with Chawla. and the reasoning,Ashwin is not playing becoz he is mentally stronger than Chawla,that is disgraceful from an intl. captain :finger:

They look exactly alike. :(( He's still young and against Holland is just a practice for our players, Chawla needs match practice so let him play, but yeah I would have dropped Bhajji and played Ashwin. The only reason to bring Ashwin in would have been to give him some match practice before the big games where he will play. Batting first on a totally flat pitch does not serve the purpose well.
