gaurav92 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Fours in the first ball in every game. Its 5 out of 5 for him. Isn't that a World Record in itself ? :woot: Remarkable strength this man has :hatsoff:
Desiblue Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Sehwag's fifth consecutive first ball boundary.. !! WTH....!!! B->
Sir john Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Shafiul Islam, James Anderson, Boyd Rankin, Bukhari and now Steyn. :bhangra:
akshayxyz Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 hope he does not get carried away and try that in Knock out games.. and perhaps Bowlers might use this to bowl a percentage delivery first up.
FairCricket Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 one against England is a lucky one , nearly got out .
coffee_rules Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 he might lose one in the QFs ...caught with law of averages..shoudn't go for the record.
DomainK Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 hope he does not get carried away and try that in Knock out games.. and perhaps Bowlers might use this to bowl a percentage delivery first up. I hope he goes on doing that. Puts the bowlers under pressure even before the match starts. Not often can a bowler start a match with a dead accurate delivery.
vaibhav_delhi Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Shafiul Islam' date=' James Anderson, Boyd Rankin, Bukhari and now Steyn. :bhangra:[/quote'] Anderson waala edge tha btw....
akshayxyz Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Interestingly in Ind-WI game, Sehwag did not play and still the first ball went for 4. Ravi Rampaul started with super-bouncer, that went over the top of wicket keeper for 4. So - 6/6 for first ball 4 in the WC so far.

There is a term for it in physics: spooky action at a distance Sehwag
CSK Fan Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 But how many of them were match winning fours? I am sure when India has won more matches when Gambhir hit the first ball he faced for four
Raghav_12 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 But how many of them were match winning fours? I am sure when India has won more matches when Gambhir hit the first ball he faced for four % of India winning matches in this world cup, against top notch teams, when Sehwag hits a four on first ball is very poor. Sehwag should not be allowed to hit four on first ball until it is proven, statistically, doing so actually results in Indian wins.

zen Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I would have been happier if he had hit 5 50s in 5 games
Midfielder Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 This is not something to be proud of. Each ball needs to be played on merit, not whim. Could care less about these 4s.
