Prakat Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Sidhu is quite idiotic IMO he uses these phrases just for the sake of it and i also remember that during the pre game show of England vs Bangladesh match he was going on and on about England being poor against spin he would not let that English guy Simon Huges speak another instance was during 2002 Lords final when him and Wilkins were doing commentary Wilkins was saying how the hooters which the crowd blows are not allowed in the Lords Cricket Ground and in response he made quite an outrageous remark to which Wilkins was shocked and said that every stadium has its rules but Sidhu was going on and on and he wouldnt let the poor Wilkins speak :giggle: But what was his response?
DeadMan Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I actually like Fernando he is very old now
Zap_Brannigan Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Sidhu is a clown who became a victim of his own initial success of his "Sidhuisms". But is there really any merit to this outrage. He uses metaphors and idioms. He didn't and never would say that BD is literally cockroaches. People need to get thicker skin. I find vuvuzela-esque horns in Sri lankan grounds more offensive to my ears than Sidhuisms.
Switchblade Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 @Superman what abt Sarfaraz Nawaz:hysterical:
pinkfreud Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 @Superman what abt Sarfaraz Nawaz:hysterical: They'd have bigger fools to worry about, imo. Mrs. Dawood Ibrahim for instance:
HowardRoark Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 First things first - Sidhu is a loud mouth. But I do not see what's wrong with what he said. It was just a metaphor that means 'even a small creature is boss in its own place'. Would you not agree that Bangladesh is a minnow and ordinary team when compared with other test playing teams? Would you not agree that Bangladesh's strength at home with their slow and turning pitches is disproportionate to their strength away from home? Sidhu did not say anything racist or offensive - He just said what Sehwag and others have said in the past about Bangladesh's capability, but instead using a metaphor. These Bangla facebook warriors need to take things easy. Whenever somebody says something that does not sync with their own unrealistic image/expectation they have of their team, they start labeling everybody as arrogant
Sir john Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Sidhu is the biggest Joker i have ever seen in my Life.:hahaha::hahaha: what about cheaters?
Switchblade Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Pink Sarfaraz still beats him by a miles every match is fixed for him
Sir john Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 How the hell is this racist? agree too much sidhu haters are here.
ganeshran Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Siddhu and Sarfaraz nawaz cant be compared. Siddhu is a loud mouthed larger than life character. Irritating, but can be entertaining at times and talks a lot of sense when talking cricket and not proverbs. but Sarfaraz is a total nutcase, keeps churning out delusional conspiracy theories. Should have been consigned to the looney bin long time back
zen Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Siddhu is fun! He does go a bit over board at times but he is not a diplomat, enough said .... He seems to get on the nerves of those demanding respect or the empty vessels trying to make some noise. No wonder some cry at Siddhu's comments.
