I for one have got used to this from MMS. He tolerates the worst scumbags in his administration who run amok with public money. He's not going to put up a unique face to the neighbors. There is no diplomacy here, just some informal timepass between the leaders. MMS must know how weak the Gilani govt is currently. They might lose their majority, results in elections followed by big defeats or for that matter another coup could take place. Which essentially means a reset button to the so called peace process. Tolerant to corruption our PM is, dumb he certainly is not.

Pakistani citizens are also very positive about the match." "Cricket diplomacy is always very welcome," she added. After dilly-dallying for months, Pakistan today agreed to allow an Indian commission to visit the country in connection with the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case probe there, setting a positive backdrop for the prime ministerial meeting in Mohali tomorrow. Pakistan, which had been dragging its feet on allowing Indian investigators on its soil in relation to probing the source of the Mumbai attack, expressed its readiness during a meeting between Home Secretaries of the two countries - GK Pillai and his Pakistani counterpart Chaudhary Qamar Zaman - which ended today. A joint statement issued at the end of the meeting reiterated the commitment of the two sides to fight terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and reaffirmed the need to bring those responsible for such crimes to justice. =========== An unprecedented development which is valid for as long as their current administration survives the heat. Certainly not bad from the UPA's perspective. MMS must be hoping for a Nobel prize, after all if the president running three and a half wars gets one then so should he :winky:
