Sachin2210 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Wanna see Mirror reflection? hehe.. that's ace
bhajjirulez Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 If anything' date=' Aussies were ready for a fight. That was the best they played because it was single elimination at that point.[/quote'] oh you mean when they played pakistan they were playing casually? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: thats the most stupidest thing one can expect from you guys :hysterical::hysterical:
Fontaine Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 To be honest the pressure is definitely on India and Pak has been the best team in the tournament with the bowling being too strong We have not set the world on fire even in some easy chases and ended up with a tie even after scoring 300+ against England; there have been no dominant performances like Pakis and whatever SRT does- over-reliance on him can surely come to bite back This must be a joke. India have scored the most runs out of any team in the group stage. Their top five has three players that are among the leading run scorers and adding to that they now have Raina and Ashwin making them bat all the way down to number 8/9. India DON'T have to do anything different to win this match, just continue playing like they have done. The pressure is all on Pakistan's batting which has already had two crappy games against Canada and New Zealand where they were all out for under 200. As for the bowling there's ISN'T much difference in both teams.
Prakat Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 oh you mean when they played pakistan they were playing casually? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: thats the most stupidest thing one can expect from you guys :hysterical::hysterical: You jumped to that conclusion yourself. :haha:
Prakat Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 The Beast promised more than he could deliver. :cantstop::cantstop:
Fontaine Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Anybody who has half a brain will realize that the big difference between the two sides is that the Indian batting has continously been scoring a ton of runs. They don't have to do anything different than play their normal game and they can score big. Unlike Pakistan who have been inconsistent with the bat. Pakistan have to bring their best batting game to compete with India while the Indian side just have to keep playing normally since their batsmen are in such goode form. Combine that with their ability to play spin and Pakistan are going to be over reliant on Umar Fool. Really, the only way this game is even close is if India play poorly with the bat.
glogirl Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Theres no doubt that Pakistan and Afridi himself are as unpredictably dangerous as dangerous gets. In a 5 match series we may beat them 4 - 1, but India definitely needs to go into the match with multiple plans for each of their batsmen and superb practice for each of their bowlers. Add to that the fact that India shall be playing them after many years, bringing that element of unpredictability. the same thing with india for pakistan, they play us after a year... that too they have never played here for three years.

Fontaine Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 you cant be serious there' date='apart from Zak who do we have[/quote'] Yuvraj/Ashwin will do the job. Pak don't have a 2nd seamer either. They have a small advantage in Afridi doing so well and Bhajji failing to take multiple wickets.
vvvslaxman Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 How much i miss Irfan :(( He always gets into head of Afretard. He has dismissed him 6 times. Also he has walloped his bowling several times.
Lord Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Yuvraj/Ashwin will do the job. Pak don't have a 2nd seamer either. They have a small advantage in Afridi doing so well and Bhajji failing to take multiple wickets. Yuvraj okay, but I'm not sure about Ashwin.Pak feast on offies.Riaz/Razzaq have been doing well,so thats enough support for Gul.n ofcourse Ajmal is there too.
vvvslaxman Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Yuvraj okay' date='but I'm not sure about Ashwin.Pak feast on offies.Riaz/Razzaq have been doing well,so thats enough support for Gul.n ofcourse Ajmal is there too.[/quote'] If any offie from our line up that has to go out that would be Bhajji who has a terrible record against Pakistan.
Lord Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 If any offie from our line up that has to go out that would be Bhajji who has a terrible record against Pakistan. agree,Ashwin is in form n high on confidence, would be harsh to drop him
Fontaine Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Yuvraj okay' date='but I'm not sure about Ashwin.Pak feast on offies.Riaz/Razzaq have been doing well,so thats enough support for Gul.n ofcourse Ajmal is there too.[/quote'] Yeah, they do have a small advantage but they are pretty much like our bowling attack. A lot of variation, part timers, a couple of seamers but essentially they're heavily reliant on two: Afridi/Gul. We're heavily reliant on Khan/Bhajji. Except Bhajji has been ineffective apart from the SA game.
Switchblade Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Afridi in yesterdays press interview had said Sachin is a gr8 player and as a captain its his job to stop Sachin and Indian media misinterpreted it and instead they should have supported his statement:haha:
Lord Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Yeah, they do have a small advantage but they are pretty much like our bowling attack. A lot of variation, part timers, a couple of seamers but essentially they're heavily reliant on two: Afridi/Gul. We're heavily reliant on Khan/Bhajji. Except Bhajji has been ineffective apart from the SA game. yeah but they r in form.even our batting depends on Sachin/Sehwag/UV buts the support that Kohli/Gambhir/Raina have been giving that makes the batting formidable. similarly thier bowling depend on Afridi/Gu; but Razzaq/Riaz/Ajmal n even Hafeez have been playing support roles wel.thats what distinguishes the bowling n make thiers formidablel
Asim Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Shahid Afridi Dares Sachin... thats indian Media for you... Now read here Afridi's take on it, his exact words: "mai 2 din sey indian media ko daikh raha hun, woh choti bat ko b bari bat bananay ki koshish kartey hian, na mainey sachin k barey mai aisa kuch kaha hey, sachin no doubt one of great player aur agar koi mujh sey puchay ga to mai yeh to nahi kahun ga k han mai sachin ko 100 karnay dun ga, to thori si aqal karain media thora positive response dey"... Weldone Afridi :two_thumbs_up:
