King Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised I remember Star Trek and giant robot was a top hit among us young ones. I still remember the young fella next door used to bind together couple of cigarette packs to make it resemble a flip flop mobile phone (we had no idea a mobile phone of that kind will be available in future then). I quite liked it and from our bedroom window I used to converse with him with the indigenous walkie talkie flip flop phone he made. Only issue is that it wasn't wireless and we had to scream at the top of our voice to be heard by each other. No wonder our parents were sick and tired of us folks. When you have the kids screaming at the top of their voices "Captain" "Spock" or "Data" at 6 am in the morning from the bedroom window, every morning was a nightmare for the older folks :lala: I'm sure they must have hated "Star Trek" for life.
theguyinallblue Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised how can you guys forget the "chitrahar" which used to come on Wednesdays at 8 PM... Malgudi days at 9 PM...
King Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised how can you guys forget the "chitrahar" which used to come on Wednesdays at 8 PM... Malgudi days at 9 PM... Malgudi days was classy :yeah: Didn't watch much TV then and still don't. I only watched cricket, "Star Trek", "Giant Robot" and couple more cartoon shows. I watched Malgudi Days recently and still is great to watch
Captain of Bhangra Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised I'll be 26 in just over a month, and I feel freakin' old. The last 8 years have just sailed past. It is depressing... (I also don't like the new format of this site)...
Guest dada_rocks Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised Legendary Premchand expressed through one of his myriad master-pieces. "Anubhaw sabse mahan vidyalay hai." His words are so germane to this topic. I think after marriage a new chapter of one's maturity book unfolds. So how mature you are at some stage does depend alot on your marriage date.
varsha Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised Guys I'm 18 and I've found the odd grey hair or two. It really isn't that big a deal methinks :)

Aqua Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised You too J I know you turned 18 the other day but grey hair with you too P.S I found another one yea, i turned 18 just the other day... and i found this strand like a few yrs back, during my O-levels... and it fell off... and now no more.... i guess it depends on the stress level in u... and btw, u called me J... lol... my college frens do too... cos they find my name too long and complicating... lol... and rajeev, its past time u stopped looking hard at ur hair... enjoy life... u wont be this young for long u know... later in the yrs ur gonna regret bothering abt wasting quality time like this...
Gaurav Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Re: Early 30s and age does not bother me any more. I take care of my appearance and grow old gracefully like old wine :rocklicker: Very happy with life I must say. I am a kid at heart and I don't see that ever changing.
Predator_05 Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised I've had grey hair since i was 13. Of course, i shave my head so it doesn't really matter. I don't think it has anything to do with stress, it's just pigmentation
Cricketics Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Re: Age? Have you compromised i have one from last year.. i often think of cuttin it, as it comes in front and is sometime easily visible to ppl, but then i try to hide it between hairz, rather then cutting it..
