Misu243 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 A bit rich coming from an Indian who has Munaf Patel as their strike bowler. Dhoni stands up to the stumps for him now? Doesn't he? Which world cup you been watching? Zaheer Khan is our strike bowler. He's proven to be better than the "fastest most lethal bowler in the world" who has been benched since his ultimate thrashing.
rawpace Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Only if the batsman steps way outside the crease. FYI he would stand up to your previous strike bowler & part time fixer Asif. That's not because Asif was a pathetic bowler' date=' its just that MSD is that damn good behind the stumps.[/quote'] Asif was a pretty good swing bowler but no Pakistani ever bigged him up as the next best thing since sliced bread when it came to genuine 'fast' bowlers! Compare it to hype created about Munaf by Indians in the article below and many more like it! http://thatscricket.oneindia.in/news/2003/09/03/0309munafpatel.html The article says Prasad gave him tips. No wonder he's turned him into a trundler. In hindsight, he would have been better off speaking Anil Kumble. If the Indian so called pace attack in not the personification of mediocricity, the I don't know what is!
Clarke Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 ^^ Compared him to the legend called Glenn McGrath. You're going by some random press article, what i said are the words of Woolmer & a million pakis. You stick to your raw pace, we shall stick to our trundlers. We're #1 & #2, where art thou ? Your entire team must be the personification of mediocrity. What's mediocricity ?

Your entire team must be the personification of mediocrity. What's mediocricity ? Sorry, I should have used a spell checker. Didn't realize people get their pants twisted over incorrect spellings on an internet forum. Funny, how you jumped on me when I called your pace attack mediocre, which it is, except Zaheer. The whole world says that! Just tune into sky sports if you don't believe me. They are always on about how Indian batsmen are not sure what total to set coz ur bowling couldn't defend 338. I didn't see you complaining when your fellow countryman said 'Being it is Pakistan they have no problem embracing mediocrity.' Pakistan has consistently produced the most feared fast bowlers since, Imran's time. Nothing mediocre about them. They'll walk into any test side in the world. Mate, it's better to be sensible than just stupid patriotic!

Clarke Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Sorry, I should have used a spell checker. Didn't realize people get their pants twisted over incorrect spellings on an internet forum. Baah, i just asked. No need to mention pants and whatever else you fancy. Funny, how you jumped on me when I called your pace attack mediocre, which it is, except Zaheer. The whole world says that! Just tune into sky sports if you don't believe me. They are always on about how Indian batsmen are not sure what total to set coz ur bowling couldn't defend 338. There's strengths and then there's weaknesses under certain conditions on certain days. We couldn't fully defend 338 one day while you went for 92 in 4 overs. I didn't see you complaining when your fellow countryman said 'Being it is Pakistan they have no problem embracing mediocrity.' Pakistan has consistently produced the most feared fast bowlers since, Imran's time. Nothing mediocre about them. They'll walk into any test side in the world. Your current team is mediocre and there's no two ways about it. Imran Khan retired almost two decades back. It's been years since Wasim & Waqar did so as well. Akhtar is dropped in the middle of the world cup. The last time i saw all three bowl together, they were sent packing. But that's not important, what matters is now. Fantasizing historical individuals & achievements so as to cover up current incompetence is your strength, not mine. Mate, it's better to be sensible than just stupid patriotic! Tell me about it. When do you plan to switch to the former ?

Pakistan should win a test series against OZ first. When was last time you beat them.
ViruRulez Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 He has enough experience of dropping catches as well. a friend forwarded this A for Akmal, B for Ball, C for Catch, D for Dropped :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Munaf has more wickets and better average in this world cup than Sohaib Actor :finger: But nobody has dropped as many catches and missed stumpings as much as Kaami has.

Baad Indian Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Dont underestimate him guys , he really picks up his form in crucial matches against India after failing against every other team , he has denied us atleast 3 crucial victories , so lets just keep our feet on ground and wait for the action.
