They'll never get how difficult it is for Dhoni to handle a team full of superstars and legend(s).
And handling the hypercritical Indian media and the expectations of a billion fans.

I love the guy, I have to say.. Has taken a high amount of BS relative to all his achievements leading us, but in the end he has succeeded in most things he set out for.. And now on a personal level he has played the most important innings of his career... :icflove:

He showed tremendous character and what a captain's knock. This is like how the steely Steve Waugh used to do it - Brilliant.
I thought you didn't like him? I even bumped up your old threads in sheer anticipation and excitement.

I am not the one to attribute to our entire success to captaincy, but i believe it was one of the crucial factors in the world cup win. That said, Dhoni's CV is astounding: 1) Won in his first ever ODI series in Australia (against the mighty Aussie ODI team) 2) Won in his first ever T20 world cup 3) Won in his first ever Champions league 4) Won in his first ever world cup In addition, he has won the Asia cup, IPL championship and also has been the captain of the numero uno test team. He is a peerless leader among the Asian captains.

The guy is not just cool and confident, he comes across as honest too. Captaining Team India is one hell of a tough job, what with all the regionalism and egos. I'd like to hear what Boycott has to say now. A few days back he was criticizing Dhoni like crazy. In fact, I'd like to hear what various experts of other countries, especially England and Australia, are saying right now.
