Three things that stick to my mind from that moment, that look of pure steel as his eyes locked on to that ball. Him doing that spin with the bat (a cowboy gun flip like danda says) and then the two of them doing a hilarious on-the-spot jig like a couple of happy footballers! I wish the cameras had caught that fully before cutting away to the crowds and dressing room. Anyone know if there's a video of that bit?

Dhoni's determination can be summed by two things. Even with pain (cramps) he was runnning like a hare. and there was slight misunderstanding with Yuvraj, I never saw him so furious. Thats when you can see he meant business.
