I was so happy to see the people in large groups celebrating, the unity and love they have for India. When you hear them chant, it's always INDIA or Bharat Mata. We have natural reasons to complain about our country's system etc, but boy when it comes to a victory like this - it simply brings everyone together and that too of epic proportions. We have the luxury to see it in Youtube, people celebrating around the world, in large numbers and going nuts Mumbai crowd was awesome, the music selection was brilliant and a fitting smile to a city which has bared a lot in recent past As for us fans, I think we too have to start behaving like Champs. Its 0/1 or 33/2, we simply just lose hope but not with these kind of players. Cricketics is one of them for sure

I know. I agree. Great to see those scenes. In a week this might all change though with IPL coming, but no one would forget how the country can unite once it's India who's playing. I am still in awe. been awake all day, i know it will be the best sleep tonight.

In the last QF, I turned off my TV during the second innings because I just couldn't deal with the pressure. But this time I forced myself to watch the match and appreciate our players going through so much pressure themselves...really I am glad to have witnessed that match...Gautam Gambhir is phenomenal...a gift to Team india.

It was heartening to see the crowd appreciating someone like Murali,It was kind of embarassing though when Ponting was booed despite this might be the last time we see him play in India. But yes as Rajiv said the way this victory was celebrated across Class, religion in unision is pretty awesome.Today I was in Devon Ave Chicago for lunch and there was a huge rally with Indian flags and people shouting Chak de and Bharat Mata ki Jai.we have different festivals,Holidays, our own choice of political parties an ideologies, our own favouraite film and sport stars but this is unique as this occasion is lapped up by every Indian.

I would normaly give up hope in a regular odi match. IN a world cup i would not miss. In 2003 every one who watched with me defated and started sleeping. I watched whole massacre right till the end.
