Precambrian Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 in his BBC column : I think it was the most unfortunate occasion I got out during the tournament. The ball did not touch the bat - it hit my armguard, my pad and then hit the stumps. I am sure had I stayed in a bit longer, we would have scored more than 300 which in turn might have changed the final result. Even before we began the tournament, I personally had a goal to become the player of the tournament. I think I came close to achieving that. It is sad that I missed out but I'm sure I would have been player of the tournament had Sri Lanka won the World Cup. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/cricket/other_international/sri_lanka/9445296.stm
Prakat Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 You would have the World Cup had Sri Lanka won the tournament! Where the eff are your priorities you selfish midget????? Oh wait....that's one of us.....
Rajiv Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Don't worry, next time we meet - Virat Kohli will give your Man of Tournament and hopefully by that time, you can buy a lawn mower to design your beard
ganeshran Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 He is right. He also performed with the bat more and a little bit with the ball. If Lanka had won, Dilshan had a strong case.
girishk14 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Yes, he or afridi would have won it for sure if SL had won. Hez been the lifeline of the SL team, amidst their numerous useless chamaras
kooljatt Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 :--D No Ifs And No Srilankan Butts... ITS ONE AND ONLY KOOL JATT...!!!:hatsoff:

akshayxyz Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Actually he performed well throughout. But we had far too many good and desperate performers to end up on the losing side. UV had more fire in the belly, more deserving. Seeing UV and Raina flying all over the place in the finals was as good a sight as watching Sachin/Sehwag blowing away opposition.
zen Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I would like to see how he did against Pak, Aus and Ind :P I have lost respect for this guy after the Zim **** incidence and when he suggested to Randhiv to bowl a no-ball when Sehwag was a hit away from his 100. This guy has a criminal mind
satyam1729 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I would like to see how he did against Pak, Aus and Ind :P Failed against all 3.

zen Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Is it because of the impression I have or does anyone else see lust in DLishan's eyes when he is looking at the model in the Dil Scoop pepsi ad :hmmmm2:
vvvslaxman Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 It is really something to be proud of. Man of the series. Sachin won in 2003. But he said in the end i would swap this for India win.
akshayxyz Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Is it because of the impression I have or does anyone else see lust in DLishan's eyes when he is looking at the model in the Dil Scoop pepsi ad :hmmmm2: He always had that 'charsi look' in his eyes.
