Unfortunately that's the only option till India can gain the stature of America in geopolitics. All India can and should do is stop home grown terrorism and make the borders impregnable for infiltration.

They could've underworld guys like Chhota Rajan to do some damage to Dawwod and Hafiz Saeed.. Rajan Nikhalje had once even offered to do some dirty job for RAW but our guys sat on that offer.. Although he helped on few occasions to eliminate Paki elements in Nepal..

They flew over hostile Arab countries and pretty much blew up their nuclear reactor to pieces. And we all know how small Israel is, they're the size of New Jersey. Israel are a strong mob but calling them a global superpower would be far fetched. I mean, they live on US handouts. I can't imagine either country using nukes on the other. I mean, after all, we're neighbors. If a nuke was dropped in the neighbor, surely some part of that explosive would seep into your borders and take out a good chunk of your civillian population as well ? Israel has the unbridled backing of America - stupid example.

The only reason we are such a soft target for Terrorists is this attitude by the Govt and the fact that we would'nt take any steps towards countering cross border terrorism without asking Big Brother America for help.

Internally problems are corruption, poverty and unemployment. Pakistan can do much less harm to us than these three. I fully agree. Let them self destruct. Their self destruction won't be entirely harmless for India, but that is the best we can do at the moment. Whatever is happening, is actually happening in our interest. Like someone said, "never ever disturb the enemy when he is making a mistake".

We cannot match the power of United states. We need an ally. A strong one. In this case United states. You have to let them do the dirty work. if they cant do what US did , they can at least put their case more in front of the world and not rest till justice is served , our politicians come out and give statements when these things happen and go back into their own cocoons and look how much more money they can earn while setting up scams while they are in power. why would USA care about Indian needs unless it is some affected in some way or other it will never combine hands with India and fight against pakistan because it will not serve their purpose at all.

Now imagine, if Mexico was a hostile country to America as Pakistan is to India. You think it's easy to patrol the huge and inhospitable India-Pakistan border? Specially for a country like India which is no match for the US economically, militarily, and technologically. Political and many other forms of instabilities in Pakistan are inevitable. Right now they are excessively dependent on the US for their survival, so delicate is their situation. And we have to face that situation and the repercussions as and when that happens. The only way to avoid that situation would be to help Pakistan economy get back on it's feet, but that is not even possible because they themselves seem least interested in that. Pakistan's self destruction will be harmful for us, but have to be prepared for that. Because it is already happening.

Also, Pak did realize that something was going on, but it was too late and the US was in and out by then.

ABBOTTABAD: Pakistani soldiers arrested a peasant in Abbottabad near the compound where al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden was killed in a US raid, the man’s relatives and police said Tuesday. Shamrez Khan, 50, was arrested by Pakistani security officials a few hours after the US-led operation on Monday, according to his son and neighbours. “My father was taken into custody outside his house when he was looking at the house where the operation was conducted,†Khan’s 20-year-old son Mohammad Qasim told AFP.
