I don't know what the exact problems are but I know that apparently the main selector, Mohsin Khan, also has problems with Waqar. As much as I despise some of the things that Afridi does, I would rather keep Mohsin/Afridi than Waqar. Mohsin Khan is one the best selectors Pakistan has had in a while.

^ Local coaches have this problem. Being a part of the system for a long time, they have their own agendas to push and their own group of players they wish to promote. Foreign coaches on the other hand come with a more open mind and tend to judge players based on their abilities.
